Selling copied CDs is already illegal. Copying for personal purposes is legal but not copying for commercial purposes.

sure. but the beuaty is they have the burden of proof. so if they don't know your customer's or have any sold by you to them. good luck. and get this if they fail you can sue them for slander.

I also want to point out to all the music industry defenders that it was recently proven that if you steal a CD and send 1.00 directly to the artist for "services rendered". they will actually make more money that way than working for thier corprate masters.

se the carrer of the goo-goo dolls if you don't belive me , no royalites ever from thier first three albums, or billy joel's piano man for which he recives NO money.

Why would you want to tempt fate? Its highly illegal. Even with no proof, DA could remove your computer for evidence from your home. Plus the old saying when you do something that you know is wrong... "Everyone always gets their comupins" Dont do it.

Copy CDs all you like, for backup, for your own use, for whatever. But the minute you SELL one you have broken the law.

yeah, your going to school, not to a flea market. go to school to learn and you won't get into trouble, not to mention if the feds find out your selling copy righted material, that a 10,000 fine per offense
