If you pay a bail bond company to post bail, the standard rate is 10% which you will never get back. If you are posting bail with the court and expect it back when the person appears in court, the rate is 100%.

If your lucky and dont have a CASH ONLY bail set, it would be 10%, which would be $17,500 that's still a big OUCH!! I believe though if you are found innocent, your bond money will be returned when you are released.

usually 10 % 1750.00, unless it's a cash bond, if you ever want to see your money again you better make sure the person show up for his court date
