I believe he is preparing to invade Iran. This is the first step. He has also sent a Carrier to the Pursian Gulf. This week the US raided the Iranian embassy in Iraq. GI's capture 6 Iranians the US claims were aiding the insurgents. I believe the US will be going into Iran in the coming months. What is your opinion?

My GF has a warrant filed against her by another person for alleged "Assault and Battery to a child". It was really a means of discipline that got blown all out of per portion. My GF has never been in trouble with the law. Any helpful answers are appreciated. What will the process be once I take her to turn herself in? How long will it take? Will she be treated like a criminal before she is even found gilty/not guilty? What are the chances of her being able to sign herself out? If bond is set by the magistrate around how much will it be for this type of charge? We are located in Virginia

The Doomsday Clock is a symbolic clock face maintained since 1947 by the Board of Directors of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

It is currently set to 7 minutes to midnight. It was last changed (moved forward) in 2002. It has been as close as 2 minutes to midnight (1953, 1961) and as far away as 17 minutes to (1992).

It will be reset again Tuesday. So what time will it be set to?

I just watched the Bush interview on 60 minutes. I'm going to paraphrase one of his statements because I don't have Tivo or a transcript. Basically he said, "These people (terrorists) have a vision of what they think the world should look like. They're willing to use murder and violence to achieve that vision." Doesn't that statement also explain the Bush administration and what the United States is currently doing in Iraq? We have a vision of what we want the rest of the world to look like, and we're using murder and violence (war) to install that vision in other parts of the world. Agree? Disagree? Explain.

By the way, I'm not one of the people that only listens to people that agree with my point of view. I love hearing good explanations from both sides of the argument, and I've chosen best answers that I disagree with in the past.
