The Doomsday Clock is a symbolic clock face maintained since 1947 by the Board of Directors of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

It is currently set to 7 minutes to midnight. It was last changed (moved forward) in 2002. It has been as close as 2 minutes to midnight (1953, 1961) and as far away as 17 minutes to (1992).

It will be reset again Tuesday. So what time will it be set to?

With Bush in power, I'd say it should always be kept an no less than 2 minutes till doomsday.

Who cares about a clock that symbolizes the doomsday? I know I don't pay it no mind at all. Whether its 7 minutes to 12, or 2 minutes to midnight, if you are predicting the world will end by a clock...I really don't know how to assure anyone that it will only get you paranoid, and for no fault of your own. That stupid clock represents no more then what the media have served its viewers, bull-puckey!

Also, keep this in mine from an ex-marine career man,the US will be the last to go down. I will resume taking up arms for MY country along with my 2 sons in Iraq, and the rest of Americans who will stand besides the US of A.

GOD I LOVE AMERICA, WOAH!

The doomsday clock strikes ahead even as people sense were in route of a nuclear conflict(a sparkling united states develops guns, checks, pressure between nuclear international locations), and backwards when we are transferring farther faraway from it(communicate, putting down guns, shrink pressure)

Let me tell you very candidly this clock thing is a pure propaganda and only symbolic of the uneasiness of United States.Starting a nuclear attack will be suicide for all mankind.

It may or may not be reset. Nothing has substancially changed since the last setting. Iran is still an issue, N. Korea is still weird and the US is still floundering around.
