He admitted it again on an interview with 60 Minutes. He also said he was the first to inform the public yet people still say there were WMD's in Iraq and that reports saying they are none are some liberal conspiracy.

Very typical of him reporting that the liberals did it to avoid the blame. ha ha The problem is not admission it is the staged admissions to point blame at someone else. If you study political strategy you will see he made a very common move. And people that are biased and in need to follow someone who they feel safe with like a Jesus syndrome, swallowed it like whipped cream. All politicians lie and cover and fool us all everywhere. The gas Saddam had, killed 1000's of his own people is that not WMD's?
Yes it is. And the left over items we left (our fault, or should I say Bush Sr.) after Desert Storm. Can you imagine all that equipment left there after the tax payers paid Billions for that in the Reagan administration. Why can't you see that the Kuwaitis agree that we saved them and are supporting us? That Saddam shipped that stuff out of there when they stalled us from the inspections by the UN? We know where it is? It is in Libya and Syria, and Pakistan where Bin Laden's people migrated to, and don't forget good ole' Yemen? I don't agree with the policies of this war but I have my eyes open and clearly this is a mess, of lies on both sides.

The illusion of WMD's in Iraq is enough to keep the American people thinking they are doing the world a favor by going into Iraq. They refuse to accept the truth. They refuse to believe their country invaded and occupied another country for no reason.

We didn't find any of the ones we thought he had recently (sarin, vx, etc.). However, there were some old ones left over from the Iran / Iraq war (mustard gas).

So there were a few WMD, just not the type and quantity we thought.

There were WMDs in Iraq before we went in or the UN wouldn't have placed sanctions on him for violating the terms of the cease fire at the end of the first Iraqi war "Desert Storm." Those sanctions were extended over and over again, waiting for Saddam to get rid of them. He refused until we let him know, early on, that if he didn't destroy them, we were going in and making him do it. Once he realized that we were serious, he shipped those that he did not destroy to Syria and Iran where they are today.

The Kurds think he had some. The Iranians as well. WMD were actually found in small amounts in Iraq by US Forces. Old degraded arty shells so not exactly a huge threat.

The war was a mistake because of someone who wanted to blame some one else. This is a prime example of not bringing your personal feelings to work.

as i stated in another post

what many people dont know because its kept out of the liberal main stream media is taht long b4 911 the un had sanction against sadam because he DID have WMD's in teh form of chemical weapons and other items he was or did obtain from teh break up of comunist russia
sadam was given extensions time and time again on showing un inspectors what he did with these things when he was ordered to disarm and he failed time and time again to comply

then 911 hit and not only had sadams time run out but he also supported the taliban in there action against the us up to and including issuing a personal statemetn that he was donating 25 grand to each of the families of the suicide bommers involved in 911 in honor of there nobel sacrifice

we gave sadam one last chance to comply and he refused and at this point the UN as a whole was supposed to invade iraq
but germany france and a few other countries were in teh pocket of sadam ( the whole food for oil scandal) they were being paid in oil vouchers that supposedly was to supply oil for these countries but that these presidents of these countries accualy could and did claim for strait cash so they didnt hold up there end of the bargan and we went in alone

we removed a mass murdering fascist dictator and his own peopel tried and exicuted him
all in all id say a job WELL DONE

now bush just needs to get on the ball and get the remaining mess cleaned up so we can move onto other important things like like stoping irans quest for nuklear capability

I didn't believe it because he said it. I believed it because before Bush said it, Hillary, Bill and several other Democrats said it. Way before Bush did.
