I vote, usually in Presidential and State elections, and in my town's mayoral elections. I only skip doing so if I'm really sick or have urgent matters to attend to.

Do you vote, and do you learn as much as you can about the candidates in the elections?

Every year the US government grant about half a million visas to nationals of almost all countries of the world through a visa lottery program subsequently issueing green cards to people of different life styles and cultural background. This is a clear indication that America needs people. What is obscure is the disappointment and frustration many law abiding aliens are going through in pursue of status here in America due to legal technicality . It's like saying, "Though I know you live here and you respect our laws, I rather bring in a new person that I don't know and deport you than grant you status to fill the gap." By the way , of the millions of people around the world that play the DV Lottery, a random selection by the computer is made to determine the winners.

I know a person who may have to register as a sex offender even though he has not committed any crime. I mean, I know this person and what they think he may have done is just absolutely outrageous. So now I am curious what the criteria for federal or state govenrment is when they want to prosecute in this type of situation? Does anyone know anything?

I am currently living in US with a B1/B2 stamp visa (I94 card. B2) wich expires in June. I want, during my time on US, to take these 2 courses:

I know all about WWI, from the loopy blockaid on the UK to the US's involvement. But what really triggered it? I've thought hard about it and cant remember at all. I dont mean the US's involment.

Be sincere, I want everyone to express their anger.

What makes ME mad is when people start blaming undocumented immigrants of living off of welfare when every single illegal immigrant that I have met is really hard working. Most of the ones I have known come here to work so that they can make money for their families in whatever country they came from, and rarely anyone (with a few exceptions) gets welfare for their children. Illegal aliens WORK for their needs, and therefore contribute to the country's economy. The statistics can easily be manipulated.

Now express yourself not about my opinion but just what makes you angry of the whole situation. Again, don't comment on my post just what you think.

What are the laws regarding shipping responsibilities? I purchased an item from a online store and FedEx tracking said’s the item was delivered and left at the door, however, their was no package. I did not even see or hear the truck and they never knocked.
I contacted the company I purchased from and they said to contact FedEx, which I did.
From looking at the FedEx site, either I or the shipper can make a claim but any claim settlement would goto the shipper. Why am I to file a claim so the shipper gets the settlement but I’m out my money?
I know there are certain laws about who’s responsible till the item exchanges hands and so forth but cannot find them.

They have dismissed the case, but it is without prejudice. Can they possibly sue me again even though the whole case was settled and paid? Is there any way I can make them dismiss the case with prejudice? What protective measures can I do so they will abide by the settlement? Thank you!
