Everyone wants it to end. The difference is some of us want to win, while others only see defeat!

I do.

But it's not just an end to the war that we should seek. The US & its allies have promised reconstruction efforts to help the community & economy back on its feet, and that is what we owe them.

We should start first at the community level, working with the people to resolve conflict & disputes, and inculcate a culture of tolerance, understanding & patriotism for their country. Only then can society work towards the goal of a harmonious society, a vibrant economy, and peaceful neighbourhoods throughout the country.

Democracy is a good thing if we manage it well. Otherwise, it merely becomes anarchy.

Peace, tolerance and harmony. That's what i want in Iraq. And Afghanistan. And everywhere else. Wars are no means to any end.

Everyone wants the war to end. I would love to have my husband back home with our family, but I also know that he has a job to do and would not feel right coming home before that job is finished. I am sure most of our troops feel the same way. If you think moral is low now imagine how it would be if we just said OK never mind you guys all come back because progress is not being made as fast as we fast paced, drive-thru, half-heart ed Americans think it should be. Progress has and is being made. What kind of message would we be giving to the world? We start things we don't finish, when things don't look good we cut and run... What a bunch of flip-floppers you all are.

hell yeah i do!!!
my budys are out there!!

but its is acctualy not as bad as the media says it is. the media makes it sound like their are gunfights over their and battles every other hour over there plus a person dies evry second. its because bad news sells. the truth is that we havent had a major battle their since 2003 (or 2004 i forget it was the battle of fallujah). if u ever c the news and c people in gunfights it is a couple years old most of the time. everything now is just the cowardly terrorists blowing stuff up when civilians walk by and then hiding in schools or what they beleive to be holy places. but unfortanulaetly freedom comes at a price and we do lose great men and women that served our country well in wars. (except those idiots who go awol)

what war in Iraq? the US can only get involved in a war by an act of Congress has any one seen an act of congress here or just the act of a mad man with his henchman cheney wanting to get all the money they can get off the blood of us and the Iraqis? there is no war on a shameless money grubbing administration in league with corporate ceo's on a huge money scheme the the entire world is onto except about half of this flag waving country. wake up and smell the constant parade of body bags being sneaked back into the country there is no war....just a big well publicized in your fact rip off going on.

I was for the war in Iraq when it started. Unfortunatly, the Iraqi people do not seem to want to help their country become a more prosperous nation. But to make a long conversation short, I do think that this war needs to end. Not becuase I think it was a bad idea to go in, but because if the Iraqi people wont stand up for themselves, then we dont need to be helping them.

Who doesn't?!?
The question should be "Who wants the war in Iraq to end and/or who wants to win the war in Iraq?"

Yes, the war should end in Iraq. It would be just silly to want the war in to end in Nebraska.

End it.

Now.

When your the main source of the problem, staying there will not make it any better.

yes there will be civil war and lots more blood-letting. But we are only delaying that, not resolving it and every day the hurts become worse between the religous factions so that the eventual war may just be that more bloody.

Ah for old days of Shadow Diplomacy and secret coups...

Everyone wants the war to end, it's just a matter of what outcome you would prefer.

Everybody wants it to end, but if you mean do I want the troops pulled out right now, then no. No one should. If that happened Iraq would crumble and Iran would have control.
