once again the 'stupid' brigade precedes me on this answer.
yes indeedy the neocon utopians who thought that iraqis would greet americans with flowers and that no thought needed to be given to a counter insurgency (a direct quote from dick cheney on 'meet the press') have fallen silent as to what the hell they were thinking.
neocons have taken on the odd habit of just pretending that they didn't think of anything in the first place.
take bush's speech the other day, where he stated that he too, was unhappy with the iraq war and how it was going.
he stated this as though it were someone else who had thought of this giddy and bizarre rush to war that he executed and that now they were going to pay indeedy.
the depth of the insult to the intelligence of the american people can scarcely be exaggerated.
the neocons who were the architects of this war - cheney, wolfowitz, perle and crystal (notice i don't mention bush, who is only a idiot figurehead) have gone into hiding and no longer make their foolish public statements.
though my favorite wolfowitz statement was that the sectarian differences between sunni and shiites was greatly overstated.
the neocons are deeply arrogant and truly hate this great nation.
please america, we need to stop voting for these guys...
