I feel that the "war on terror" is just a red herring "like the war in Iraq to keep our attention elsewhere while they are plundering our country as evidenced in the missing Wanta funds that actually belong to the American people On top of this they are going to slip the North American Union in the back door. America--going, going, GONE!!!!!!!!! no shots fired no loss of life America you are asleep at the wheel Please wake up before it is too late Please!!!!!

In highly industrialized countries, are there still even ACTIVE labor unions (I mean, what kind of protests do workers from highly modernized countries call for)?

Labor unions and protests carried out by worker unions are commonplace in our country. Supposedly, employees and workers' rights are upheld through worker unions and yet some employees detest unions. Why do you think this happens? But still many are joining worker unions and protest on the streets. Who are likely to join and STAY in worker unions?

A lot of people claim either one or the other. Not only is it kinda hard to tell where they stand on the issues a lot of times, but some republicans support what are traditionally known to be democratic issues and vice versa.

Why is barely any oil being shipped out of Iraq? Could it be from terrorist attacks? Wait, that doesn't make any sense, I mean with the largest military in the world couldn't Bush just concentrate the forces to getting oil out of Iraq?

If you dare ask a question with back-bone, Yahoo calls it a violation, and deletes your question.

Why must Americans who are passionate about their politics be censored by Yahoo in this manner?

If Yahoo Q & A seeks just answers and questions from non-passionate people why do they even have a "Politics" section?

My boyfriend's ex and him didn't have sex but everything leading up to it(i'm over it and forgave him(side note)). She sometimes threatens to report him. When it happened he was 18 and she was 16. I was just wondering if she can still report it even after she turns 18. Which is in less than a month. Please write if you know anything on this subjects. And isn't technically not statuatory rape if they didn't have sex and all the stuff they did, she agreed to do and wasn't forced.

My roomate and I are both in the military. He recently got permanent change of duty station orders, and he has to move to another city. We both signed the same lease for our apartment, and the apartment automatically debits half of the rent out of each of our bank accounts each month. The property manager is telling us that he can leave, but since we don't have the same last name, I have to either find a new roomate or pay all the rent by myself (both of which are next to impossible right now). But she says I have to stay on the lease. This doesn't make sense to me since we both signed the same paper and that the lease agreement states that he and I were to split rent each month. It doesn't seem fair, either. Has anyone ever encountered anything like this, and what should I do?

Think about it....if a parent dies, the child receives SSI until they're 18. If parents split up, the child is financed through child support. But the children of parnets in prison must fall throught the cracks and remain ignored.

My daughter's father is in prison until 2015. I played no part in this....so why is that me and my daughter are punished? I work full time. The 'system' makes it so that I don't qualify for support, I can't afford to go to school, and I'm stuck!

Why do I take such a big hit in this? I am not a criminal!!!!!

Well, it's pretty standard fare in political discourse. You misconstrue what somebody said. You isolate a statement, you lend your interpretation to it and then feign moral outrage. A fundamental premise of politics is we can make this work if people just never figure it out

And what are your thoughts on it
