It probably seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm sure Saddam's parents were once hopeful. Pick any historical figure that should have never been born, and you'd find the same situation. Why do you think George Sr. cried at Jeb's goodbye party in Florida when he talked about Jeb's leadership, he knows that the wrong son became President.
