I feel that the "war on terror" is just a red herring "like the war in Iraq to keep our attention elsewhere while they are plundering our country as evidenced in the missing Wanta funds that actually belong to the American people On top of this they are going to slip the North American Union in the back door. America--going, going, GONE!!!!!!!!! no shots fired no loss of life America you are asleep at the wheel Please wake up before it is too late Please!!!!!

Totally being played. Proof: We need to protect the homeland with open borders. Sell our ports and roads etc. to foreign people, but protect the homeland? It's a hoax.

There is considerable evidence that the only war, is by Theofascists of mostly Republican stripe on the American people, but you might be surprised at some of the specifics.

I don't think that a North American EU is going to fly as both Mexican and Canadian Governments would be very opposed. I think that is another Right-wing red herring, much like the loose change stuff. In both cases they cloud real issues like NAFTA and PNAC plans for conquering America.

The BBC did a very good series on who and what the Islamists and NeoCons are about and all their history, and how the Neocons are playing to America's(and British) fears to give themselves power.

The USA is being attacked on numerous fronts. Don't assume one issue is any less important than another.

The masses voted in the liberals who will likely open the flood gates to more problems. You should be very concerned. Bush deserves credit for keeping the war in Iraq. How many more 9/11 events does it take to awake the masses that the USA is at war whether we want to be or not?

What are Wanta funds and the North American Union?

We have been at war with fundamental Islamic terrorists for more than 30 years. It took a major hit on our own soil for us to wake up to it.

The North American Union thing isn't thrilling me either, because it isn't going to be able to compete with the European Union anyway... and who wants to?

But there's no "diversions" needed, because most of America is not engaged in the political process enough to have a clue what goes on in the news.

There plenty of plundering, but it happens at all government levels to include state and local. Speak up publically. Write your Congressman. Campaign. There are plenty of ways to help if you truly care.

It's real but **possibly** not as big a risk as it is being represented or as big a risk at it was previously. But it certainly is a risk and real. While we haven't seen any attacks in the US nor any recently in other countries, it would be naive to think that they're thru with plotting attacks.

Frankly, I really wonder why we haven't seen any. I certainly don't want any attacks to happen. But there are certainly questions to be asked. Have we disrupted them enough that they won't or can't attack? Are we thwarting the plots? Are they realizing that they can't succeed. Even as bad as 9/11 was, they cannot stop the US from living life and growing as a country.

I think it was going to happen eventually. I mean, the religion of Iraq actually revolves around being the only right religion and that it is their duty to convert the world. It is very sad. I don't want to stereotype muslims or anyone else. News channels play what they want you to see. Some of the people in Iraq sawed off one of our reporter's heads and recorded it. This is who we are dealing with.

Yeah, you're right - the terrorist attacks out of the Middle East for the past 20 years is all part the Bush conspiracy....even the Iran hostage crisis.

Honey, YOU need to wake up. These people have been VERY clear about their goals - they want you to covert or die. How much more specific do they need to be?

So let me get this straight: This "war on terror" which we're spending BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of DOLLARS is a smoke screen for the sake of "plundering our country"?

Huh?

If "plundering" was all they cared about, why bother initiating something that would cost an incredible amount of money with no guarantee of dividends?

I bet the government would love the responses to this question. They have beeen successful in their brainwashing operation. You have been well and truly had. Yes, terrorism is real, but nowhere near as bad is at is being portrayed to be. If anything Bush has created his own form of terrorism due to the Iraq debacle and US support of the murderous Israelis.

Honestly, it scares me. "A Global War on Terror"... Global = world... World War??????? Sounds like it to me.

Anyone else agree? Bush's basically saying we'll take on the whole world.

Heaven help us.
