i have just found out that the company i am suing for unfair dismissal is gone into liquidation last year i was awarded 33.000
comp by a tribunal court but the company put in an appeal for this march but my solicitor wroth to me today to say that the company is gone into liquidation and that the case might not go ahead in march can the state do any thing for me

No, as you will now become a creditor to the company. You will have a claim to assests, but only receive a portion of the judgement. It also depends on how the company is set up as to who will be paid first. Again, you will probably only get pennies on the dollar as a settlement.
