He stopped including war costs in his fiscal budget to claim defecits were going down. Not only did they go down when he stopped including the costs of the war in Iraq, but they went down further as he dipped into the social security trust fund to pay for tax cuts.

Here is a press release from 12/21/06 where Republican Senator Judd Gregg (current chairmen of the CBO) and others, ask Bush to be up front about the costs of war in Iraq. And this is off the Republican portion of the official CBO website.

I asked this question yesterday, not surprisingly, no Republicans had any sort of answers.

He was a bad guy. They caught him. They tried him. They hung him.

Do you actually fantasize that this accomplished some great good for humanity or Iraqis?

Legally, it was the equivalent of popping a zit.

There will be more........

Then you can tune in to watch that one. And the one after.

Get a freaking life.

My 6 week old is exclusivly breastfed.
I know GA state law says:
15-12-1 G
15-12-1.
(3) Notwithstanding paragraph (1) of this subsection, any person who is the primary caregiver having active care and custody of a child under four years of age, who executes an affidavit on a form provided by the court stating that such person is the primary caregiver having active care and custody of a child under four years of age and stating that such person has no reasonably available alternative child care, and who requests to be excused or deferred shall be excused or deferred from jury duty. It shall be the duty of the court to provide affidavits for the purpose of this subsection.

Anyone have personal expereince getting excused from jury duty in GA because you were breastfeeding?

Are they the only ones with such a polorizing view of the world?
Good vs. Evil.
we are the good guys and they are the bad guys.
if your not with us then your against us.
if you dont support us then you support the terrorists and that makes you a terrorist.
Love it or leave it
blah blah
endless diatribes like these from a group that takes an over simplistic view on the world and its affairs. Internationally and nationally

I watched a special the other night of how our employers are highering illigal immigrants from Mexico because they are more reliable. They don't quit their jobs always show up for work and work very hard. Some employers say harder than us citizens. These illegal immigrants are paying taxes to our country but in return don't get any social security retirement benefits. I'm confused with 2 issues now when it is put this way. Why are we so bitter with this if they pay taxes to us? Why don't they just become us citizens? What are your thoughts on this?

It was different for me, way back in the 1990's. Female recruits trained separately and their block was strictly off-limits to us male recruits.

Of course, after you earn your rank and get posted out, you'd probably meet a few women in green during your time of duty.

Are things different now (the unisex training, that is)?

(Note: I live in Southeast Asia).
