The USA is like one of the best countries- we've made great discoveries: like the first on the moon and electricity---------------------------BUT how did we grow so fast? economically, in governemnt, in science and technology?

Actually, even though many immigrants come here (because they feel this is such A GREAT COUNTRY) we are still becoming one. I don't know how our accent became so clear and different than the accents of UK

Young countries tend to expand faster than older ones because they are not set into any traditional roles and are in a trial and error period so they discover new things and better ways to do stuff. It also helps that our country is diverse so it brings in the opinions of so many people and the people are allowed to do great things and our minds are not restricted.

Because for the first time in history a country was created from scratch, not due to a lineage of kings and rulers. More importantly, men were finally free to keep the fruits of their labor and not to have them subject to the state. Face it people...it is because of Capiltalism that we have seen such great advances in the past 230 years. When men are able to profit from their hard work, everyone benefits.

We are blessed by the God that this country was founded on. But we are moving so quickly into the status of a pagan nation that it won't be long before our superpower status is gone. As we speak, there are nations rising to power with the intentions of crushing us. We may not see it in our lifetime, but the chances are really good that we will.

Well I never understand this myself. The U.S.A is a big place that rapidly grows because of immigrants,probably. Or else, U.S.A could not existe it is like a second home for immigrants, I believe.

we expanded so quickly first of all because one of the presidents, forget whicg, made a doctrine that said that the US is destined to strech from sea to sea, and at the time it had actually included canada, but as you can see that didn't happen:)
and its called capitalism that made our economy, science, and technology grow so quickly
