i don't agree with capital punishment but i'd like to see Bush on trial for the following war crimes: illegal preemptive war, torture, use of illegal weapons (white phosphorus).

No.. and I think everybody should get over the 'I hate Bush" thing.. yes.. he has made mistakes.. and he needs to finish what was started.. but.. he has committed no crimes that earns what Sadam received. Now, think about that question you asked with complete honesty..

No, I don't. But only because capital punishment is wrong. Also, it was uncivilized to execute Saddam on a religious holiday, and before he could stand trial for his alleged major crimes (where his relations with the United States would have been exposed).
More importantly, we need a public, thorough, and independent investigation of all of Bush's actions against Iraq. And then we can decide what should happen to him.

Look, I know it's trendy to be a Bush hater and all, but do you really believe that the two are the same? Are you serious?
If you are saying that a terrorist and despot like Saddam does not deserve to be hanged and Bush does, there is something seriously wrong with your worldview.
Get a life!

IF YOU CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO YOU ARE BEYOND HELP OR ANY CARING THIS FORUM WILL PROVIDE.THIS IS THE KIND OF STATEMENT THAT MAKES MANY GOOD PEOPLE THANKFUL THEY DIDN'T GO INTO POLITICS. WHEN YOU HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS NONSENSE, IT MAKES ONE WONDER IF ANY KIND OF CLEAR THINKING IS EVEN POSSIBLE FROM THE CITIZENRY. BLIND HATRED OF ONES POLITICAL FOES IS A HALLMARK OF THIRD WORLD BACKWARD COUNTRIES THAT HAVEN'T A CLUE OF WHAT TRUE POLITICAL DIALOG IS SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE. THE STATEMENT ABOVE IS NOT IT. IF WE KEEP IT UP, WE JUST MIGHT GRADUATE TO THE REALM OF CHOPPING ANOTHER'S HEAD OFF BECAUSE WE DON'T LIKE HIS RELIGION. OH, SORRY, SOMEBODY HAS ALREADY THOUGHT OF THAT.

No I don't think Bush should be hanged.
I think he should be in prison for the rest of his life though, along with Wolfowitz, Cheney, Rumsfeld and the rest of the architects of the war in Iraq.

President Bush is an honorable man trying to protect this country from Saddam and those evil men like him. You should be ashamed for asking this question.

No, he was not tried and convicted in a court of law by his own people. Yet, right now I am thinking maybe you should have been.
