Politics, Power & Energy

In the early 19th century powered machines such as boats, trains etc… were powered by charcoal energy. Later, petroleum had been discovered as a new source of energy and used much more widely. Since then petrol became a symbol, of power and wealth. Therefore the western countries occupied productive countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and so on to get more energy for their growing industries.

After a while and under the population’s resistance to occupation, the occupants were forced to retrieve. But they left corrupted governments, on small states that they divided, to rule on their behalf and to look after their interests. Until now, those governments have western support and protection.

Everyone says Bush has lied about Saddam having WMDs, and therefore should be impeached. So, why then, under Clinton, did the queen of liberalism herself state the following:

"As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process. They hold candle light vigils and piss and moan outside of the prison of a person that is going to die YET on flip side of their diseased coin they would not bat an eye when it's time to murder an unborn baby. They are the true baby killers.
Pro Choice - is that pro choice for the unborn too ? See pro choice is just an fancy name for the people who hate the word
murder in my humble opinion.

What did he do wrong? Saddam Hussein WAS trying to get WMDs, so invading Iraq was probably a good thing. He tortured terrorists, which is good. So what has he done wrong? So whatever he has done wrong, shouldn't we rally to support him instead of defeating him at home and doing the terrorists' job?
