hi does anyone know if a police caution given about 7 years ago would show up on a check done by a prospective employer ?
its not for me but for a close friend of mine who wants to apply for a job where i work and is worried it will show up and be embarresing for her and for me as i told her about the job.
from what she has told me it was for shop lifting and was her first and only offence. i don't know if she is worrying over nothing.

Like Roswell, if alians did come I don't care, maybe it's better that I don't know. There are many other examples. Maybe it's better that the public doesn't know everything for our own safety. I'm just throwing my thoughts out there. What do you think?

The British government control the way the BBC is run, appointing the management which is clearly going to be anxious not to displease their masters.
Isn't it time that the licence fee payer was given the right to elect the BBC management and for the BBC to be made totally independent of government?

Blair and Bush have both been re-elected by the respective electorates of Great Britain and the USA.
Both wish to restrict the basic freedoms of their people who cannot see the dangers that Blair and Bush pose to these proper democratic freedoms.

I am trying to locate the law that says if you get a house in foreclosure that all of the prior liens of record are wiped out by the foreclosure. That is true isnt it? I dont know about tax liens but regular liens are wiped out right? but i cant find the law to back me up. I know it is out there!

Is it true that depleted uranium was used and led to birth defects in the children of people who were exposed? I've heard many different things--that the US and Britain were responsible; that they were not responsible; that no such thing ever occurred; and that there have been babies born with deformities but depleted uranium was not the cause. I had always thought that some sort of chemical weapon used in the Gulf War did lead to birth defects in babies. If anyone can verify or discredit any of this information, I'd appreciate it.
