...i was recently given a 30 day eviction notice by the landlord. The notice claims that i made damages to newly installed carpet in the hallway. However, the damage was not made by me which is why i don't understand why i am being wrongfully accused. There is a rug burn that was made with a bicycle,my children don't even own bicyles and we live in an apartment.I asked the landlord for the owner's # but he won't give it to me.So i don't know what to do after the 30 day notice is up,I have no where to go...me and my 4 children will be left without a home.Does anyone know what i can do????

I read on http://usmilitary.about.com/od/navy/l/blsubfaq.htm that the only men on submarines are the ones who volunteered for sub duty. Is it true that if your in the Navy, you don't have to go in a sub unless you volunteer? That sounds very unusual to me. I would think it be tough to find that many volunteers, especially if its for something like nuke where they have essential jobs for submarines. Does anyone have any first-hand experiance with this?

I recently bot a car at a police auction (and it runs!) for $175. I would get a great kick out of filling out a 'police report' and taking a black marker, and crossing out the case # names/addresses of 'people involved', and all other 'important information.' It would read something like this: At 12:03 PM, ------ ------ was sitting in a 1994 Plymouth Acclaim registered to---- ----- in the parking lot of --- ----- Avenue. Victim was killed by 2 gunshots to the chest, according to the Medical Examiner ---- -------
- Officer -------
OK. So would there by anything illegal about this? I can't imagine, since there is actually no relevant information to support anything on this one.
I am pretty sure I will get many answers saying 'Yes, I *think* it is illegal.' or 'No, I don't think it is illegal, but I don't know.'
Please don't answer if you don't know... plenty of other pages 2 get 2 points. Some girls believe anything, you know... Perhaps some ketchup as supporting 'evidence'

I mean, most of the time they just come off as dolts or completely thoughtless people.

Oh, I know, they CARE and they FEEL but, beyond that, there's no real bandwidth to their babbling pronouncements, is there?

I read in the Sunday Mail that 28,000 pensioners died last year because of lack of heating. They don't have enough for heating and food.

It's actually quite pathetic. BTW, a BJ only takes like 12 minutes at most. It was the fault of the conservatives for dragging out the pointless Monica Lewinsky scandal, preventing Clinton from attending to other matters.

I don't it's fair for the lead singer of Dixie Chick to get punished because she spoke up against Bush when half of this country felt the same but didn't have the guts to speak up. So shouldn't we give support to Dixie Chicks by at least buying their single "I'm Not Ready to Make Nice"?
