His attitude alone is arrogant and abusive, but he has lied and failed to uphold the constitution of the United States. His behavior regarding 911 appears criminal, he misled us into an illegal war and his arrogance continues to go unchallenged. We are in extreme danger?

I think our government must FULLY, THOROUGHLY, AND WITH CLARITY investigate all of the smoking guns, and if there is grounds for impeachment, he must be impeached.

If the new Democrat-led Congress does only a half-hearted job of investigation, and fails to follow through on the things they find (lies, torture, unlawful detainment, secret prisons, no-bid contracts, loss of billions and billions of taxpayer dollars) then it sends a clear message, not just to the rest of the world, but to all Americans, that America doesn't even follow it's own laws anymore, and that it's government, and more importantly, it's whole system of government, has been utterly corrupted.

This is the same system of government which attempted impeachment of the President over a sexual indiscretion just a few years ago. There was a huge, seemingly endless, expensive, highly publicized investigation. There were people debating the definition of 'sexual relations.' There is not a snowflake's chance in hell that ANYONE has forgotten that embarrassing spectacle, or the incredible lengths our government went to, to 'get to the truth.'

It is utterly impossible for the US government to maintain any credibility, if they construe such idiocy to be grounds for impeachment, but the transgressions of the Bush administration, with their bloody, deadly, and far-reaching results, is 'off limits' as Nancy Pelosi so imprudently said.

I believe you're right. We are in extreme danger. Our government may very well take the attitude that they'd just rather not open that can of worms; it'll be too messy, too revealing about too many people and too much of the inner rot in our system, and besides, they've got too many other things to do. And, the real danger is, we everyday, average Amercan citizens will probably let them get away with it. We'll be too busy with other things that REALLY matter--baseball, football, basketball, Survivor, CSI, Britney and Paris, Brad and Angelina--to even notice the day we lost our honor, integrity, and the respect of every other nation on the planet. The day we cease to stand for freedom and democracy, and come instead to stand for arrogance, corruption and deceit.

No because of the fact maximum of united statesa. is conservative in nature and that they are not as ignorant as you may would desire to have them be to question Bush. to confirm that an impeachment to ensue, there must be a valid reason. some will say the war or immigration. Neither of that are impeachable offenses. The war isn't on condition that many senators, Hillary and Kerry to illustrate, voted to pass to war. Immigration isn't on condition that there is not any actual direct indication that Bush has no longer achieved something to handle the situation. different will say it incredibly is because of the fact the administration is corrupt. nicely the sole ones who're asserting that are the liberals, the democrats and the media. actuality is that there is incredibly little corruption whilst in comparison with the Clinton administration. those are the information why no grassroots flow to question might prevail. As for the themes you stated above, maximum of those themes have been with the consent of Congress and/or are ideal outcomes of being at war. for this reason, none of them are seen criminal under the regulation or violations of the Geneva convention and for that reason no longer impeachable offenses. Sorry to state the information, yet there they're. once you do your investigations for "criminal" events by using the Bush administration, you incredibly would desire to look at why the strikes have been allowed to ensue. you will discover that in simple terms about all of them have been authorized by using the Congress, are prevalent coverage of any administration, and/or completely misrepresented by using the media.

I do not feel that impeaching Bush would regain world repect toward the United States. For starters, if we impeach President Bush, our Vice-President, who is the from the same political party would become our president. If Dick Cheney becomes president, he would probably do the same stuff that George W. Bush is doing. Thus we would not gain world respect.

I realize that our government is spending alot of money on this war. I do acknowledge that this money is probably just going to waste as I don't see Iraq getting better. However, impeaching a president is costly. So, are we any better off spending money to take our president to court.

Plus, if we spend this money to impeach our president, that doesn't mean he'll be kicked out of office. To impeach a president just means to bring charges against him. That doesn't mean he'll automatically get kicked out of office. Congress then votes to either kick him out or not to. An example: President Clinton was indeed impeached, but he didn't get kicked out of office.

In conclusion, I don't feel impeaching President George W. Bush would gain us world respect because we will still be invovled in world conflict. I just don't feel this would be the right thing to do. In two years, we will be getting a different president anyways.

Probably not, but it will make the French, the Iranians, the Syrians, the North Koreans, the Venezualans, the Cubans, the Russians, the Chinese, and all the Jihadists dance for joy to know that the man who is trying with all his might to defend the USA is now tied up in a pointless legal battle and too busy to oppose them effectively. It would also prove the Democrats are just as partisan and mean spirited as the GOP were when they went after Slick Willie.

I think it would help the united states but it would not help others opinions of the country. Ever since WWI America has been looked as a country of ill educated dream chasers. I do believe how ever that if there are no Weapons of mass destruction (the reason we went over to Iraq remember Afghanistan... You know the home land of osama?) that we should pull out of this war. That would gain the respect of many nations. And with the Democratic hold of the house and Senate his arrogance is begining to be challenged. Democrats in 08!

I know, he is a rotten president. I think we regain our respect in the world by just letting him finish his term. Let the new congress keep him hamstrung and not getting a free hand to do any more damage. Stand tall, keep order, and just wait for the next election. We need to act like an orderly society and keep our dignity.

I agree it would be a good start. But we still have a lots of work to do to regain world respect, and clean up the mess that Bush administration left over for years.

Even Nancy Pelosi, the new speaker of the house, has stated that she has no care of impeaching pResident Bush, why does everybody else? His power has been diminished, since House is no longer in Red control, plus, his own administration is being cropped down.

If Bush isn't punished, then we are telling the world that we back his attitutdes and his past actions.

I'd like to get all the money we spent in IRaq and use if for healthcare and education. How did we ever get to the point where we could never budget for health and education and suddenly we will be in debt for 30 years because of one man's determination?
