my friend mandy found a check that was signed and filled out for around 1000 dollars but not made out to anyone so she put her name on it and cashed it she got a call from a detective investigaging check fraud she is scared shitless she figured it was like finding money kinda stupid i think but what is going to happen to her can she get in some real truouble or do you think she can get off this is the only thing she has ever done other than tickets what do you think??

I grew up remembering all the images of past presidents visiting foreign countries and how the people greeted them with adoration, and respect for the Americans they represented. Europe, South America, Africa, you name it!

All of them, Reagan, Clinton, Bush I, Carter, Nixon even......the list goes on.....JFK...

But Bush is so disrespected and disliked that he dare not try the same thing even in the UK! And his handlers know it. I never see him getting a popular foreign reception. Ever.

That's just the measure of the man. And how far he has lowered the image of the presidency.

i live in florida and subcontract as a mortgage processor. my boss owes me for 3 deals that have closed which includes one check that bounced. If i cannot place a lien what are my remedies. while the amount is not much, it has put me in a position where i cannot justify working more deals for her until i know i can get paid for the deals that have closed. To add to this i cannot go on unemployment unless i was terminated

I am in the USA illigally for the past 4 years and now was pulled over by the police for not having driver's license and must go to court. Not sure I'll get deported.
Before deportation I want to possibly immigrate to Canada by taking a bus and showing up at the border crossing and apply for immigration status.
What are my options?
Can I just take the bus to the Can-US border and apply for refugee status?
Will it affect that I am in teh US illigaly?

There is a visible argument from the muslim community in the west that stereotyping muslim youths will encourage them to become terrorists.

But if someone kept stereotyping you as...let's say, a rapist, would that be a justification for you and encourage you to go out and rape little children?

I was pulled over by Police in CA and since I don't have valid driver's licence the car was impounded and I must appear in court in Feb. 2007.

What is going to happen to me if I *do* go to court?
What if I don't go to court?
Will I be deported?

I did some research and found out that Gore is quite the global traveler. He flies a private jet pretty much everywhere, which consumes about 2,750 gallons of fuel for a one way trip from NY to LA. If you consider that he flies this route 10 times, and believe me he flies a lot more, it is equal to driving the monstrous Hummer H1 (13 mpg) around the circumferance of the earth 10.82 times. Who does he think he is kidding?
