I came to US 4 years ago on a Student visa and stayed after program eneded, stayed illigal, undocumented.?

Question

I was pulled over by Police in CA and since I don't have valid driver's licence the car was impounded and I must appear in court in Feb. 2007.

What is going to happen to me if I *do* go to court?
What if I don't go to court?
Will I be deported?

even though it is not a lot of time you can get you're self legal
before the court date. i don't agree with you for driving without a valid license and if you were here on a student visa you should have learned the laws in the u.s.. if you don't show for court
you will most certainly get some time and then be deported after time served if you didn't try to resolve your status.

If you don't go to court, a warrant for your arrest will probably be issued. If you do, you will get a chance to appear on a charge of driving without a license. If you are found guilty there will be a fine to pay. Your status as a citizen may never come up.

If you don't go to court, a warrant will be issued for your arrest, and then you WILL be deported. Also, you broke American laws by staying in this country illegally. We don't want criminals here. I hope you get deported based on that reason.

Your presence in the USA [albeit illegally] probably won't be picked up on when you go to court...

if u tell them a good story ull be good to go and ofcourse the truth but if not u might get fined if u dont go itll be bad i recommend u go....its really important!
