for instance, why do you want to say flight attendant instead of stewardess? one could just call the male a steward. Why firefighter when you could say fireman and firewoman?

I live in California and am surrounded by illegal immigrants. In fact, my father was an illegal immigrant for a few years before he finally got the chance to become a citizen. I have my own views on the immigration laws, but I wonder, how many of you out there that are so against illegal immigrants, especially mexicans, actually know any illegal immigrants??

If you got nothing to suck off left, what will you suck on next?
I hate to think of it, but those pesky illegal Mexicans might develope a taste for Gringo flesh!
Will they make the gringos go to the back of the bus? or drink from seperate water fountains or what?
Not buy from our biz. assuming there are any left. Not date or marry our women? Not educate our children. Not let us have access to free health care. Will they repeal all our laws concerning equality? What will they DO with us all?

We'll I'm thirteen years old living in California... I'm from Korea and I lived here since I was 6 years old, so I been living here for about 7 years, 8 next year..

My mom is here on the student visa to get her PhD., but my dad was here on a work visa before but had to leave for a college professor job in Korea... Well I'm in 8th for now and in Korea I have a nice home and such but the problem is I won't be happy there since all my friends are here.. and I want a future family or a job here..

The main big problem is that there is like a 90% chance that I'll have to go back to Korea because my mom will finish school? How can I get a citizenship or a permanent resident here, since most likely my mom will be going back with my sister and I know I'm not 18 yet so I have to go with her. :( =/
(I plan on joining the military tho, but I'm a very smart and a good student with a lot of friends, never done a felony before ;)...)

I haven't watched it for a long time because all they kept having stories about is Abu Ghraib prison. So I watch it tonight and guess what? They are still crying about Abu Ghraib. Then there's a story about the Sicilian Mafia and somehow they work Karl Rove's name into the story. Unbelievable.

Michael Richards' comedy club blow up is just the tip of the iceberg as an expression of conservative stress over the complexities of our modern multicultural society. He humorously acted out a mock-show of what the typical Bushie goes through every morning on the drive to work, every day at work close to black people, and every leisure day at the beach or park or store in the presence of African American people. Their dirty secret is, they DESPISE, all black people. Don't you agree?

Serious responses only, please. No hatred trolls or neocon bigots reply, please. We hear enough of your garbage in the conservative media as it is, thanks.

Is the U.S. going to cease from being a superpower, and if so what will be the ramifications if it does? Will there be another dark ages like after the Roman Empire fell, or will China assume to role of the worlds major player (or perhaps another county?).
And if so how will things change for western countries?

I’m a Muslim and in my religion, if someone killed or even harmed another person or even an animal it is considered a huge fault. And that killer might end up in hell. And I feel that after any terrorist’s attacks, the first people who got the blame are the Muslims! Even before investigations! Why is that keeps happening? I want you all to know the truth that, to be a Muslim, you should love and respect all our peaceful brothers from all the other religions. And that is what most of us are doing and the rest are not considered Muslims. And after all that, we and our children are being killed in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq... Not because we are terrorists, it is all because we are Muslims. Please tell me what you think?
By the way, Islam in Arabic is taken from the word “salam” which means peace.

OK, I just want everybodys opinion on this. Yes the Brits are a highly celebrated and disiplined force. One of the best in the world. The US military is a young military, although if you ask anyone with any military knowledge, they will agree that the US military is the most feared in the world right now becuase of thier force projection. However, when the brits and americans team up, there isn't a objective that can't be siezed and held. So my hats off to both militaries. Rock on!

ARMY ALL THE WAY!
