Hi,
I recently just recieved a large settlement from a car accident. I was wondering if it would be ok if I had my lawyer make the check out in my grandmother's name so she can deposit it in her checking account. If not, is there a way for me to put a large check that is in my name into her checking account? Thanks!

Why do the Democrats attract so many poor people when the vast majority of wealthy people in the Senate are Democrats? It is so funny how the Dems twist the truth and pretend that the Republicans are the elite and exclude others when in truth the Democratic leaders have most of the money and simply appeal to the poor to control them. Any thoughts? Just look at Kennedy and Pelosi. Lets tax wealth and not income.

Even though an ethics panel found that Republican Congressional "Leaders" knew of predatory and abusive actions toward Congressional Pages for many as 10 years, no one was disciplined or even given a warning. With this kind of lack of oversight or protection from these "Bottom of the Barrell" legislators The college of pages should be closed, unfortunately.

All of you who believe this sh** are being fooled by the government. Learn the truth. Seriously, most of the war on drugs is full of bullsh** paid for by the government. If you really want to know go to wikipedia and search about weed. There is no scientifical evidence to support what the government says about it killing brain cells. There is no reason that kids are getting lied to about such a wonderful plant. Those commercials that have your brain on drugs by frying an egg in a pan is tottally opposite of what happens to your brain. A posative from smoking reefer would be the prevention of alzheimers disease. Go to www.norml.org www.erowid.org and do some research on the subject instead of believing the Corruption of the government, who will do anything for money. The drug war creates so many jobs and keeps so many poor people off the streets by locking them up. --creates lots of money....So, what would we do with all our prisons and the government job loss if we can't lock up millions of people for non-violent drug offenses?

Is the welfare system robbing good married couples in this country blind, who earn their living working for paychecks and who cannot collect any welfare if one of them earns a good paycheck when their monetary situation is the same as the welfare unmarried family? Should a man or woman earning a substantial paycheck be allowed to shack up with another mate who is divorced and on welfare and those two act like a family while unmarried when a married couple could not get welfare in the same situation? Should all women get a living wage from the state?

Im not a criminal, have never been arrested and don't hang out with those types of people so don't put me in that category. I feel that the police are getting away with so many murders and are mistreating people without being punished. It is not fair. They discriminate against young males and assume that most of them are good for nothing. They are human beings too and they are not perfect. I understand that they risk their lives alot but there have been so many killings of people lately who were not even armed and I believe that it is getting ridiculous. What can we do to put a stop to this madness?

I've heard some people say that those who don't have respect for the confederate flag are ignorant about History. I myself don't have ANY respect for such flag, since for me it only represents a time when people were fighting over slavery (something that shouldn't even be considered!).
