You are obviously too young to know anyone who has abused this drug for a long period of time and actually see what it does to their brain after long time use.I have friends that have been smoking for well over 25 years.Their memory is shot,I wouldn't trust them to go to the grocery store for me and come back with what I asked them to get.I have seen very intelligent people who are now walking around in a daze.While pot does have some medical significance,long term use does lead to impaired brain function in time.

My son went from pot approval by his bride and her family who were infested by it and living off the state having kid after kid with no child support being paid and enjoying their drugs......to crack and heroin. People who have to work for a living to make ends meet cannot sustain the pleasure of this drug and most of us do have to do that. Eventually the family breaks down and somebody either gets killed or dies accidentally from all this put upon the average Joe. He is in jail now on 3 felony charges because his happy mode told him that it was ok to drive like a madman 60 mph in a 30 on the wrong side of the road, running into and destroying a private construction fence, driving with that fence accross the hood of his girlfriend's new car and eventually flipping the car 4 times totalling it! It took 6 police officers to arrest him and one broke his wrist while punching my son to subdue him which now adds 2nd degree assault to the charges. Yeah drugs are great aren't they? My son was never in any trouble til he met intimidating irresponsible drug infested nutcases living off the state to which he called my attention, "See dad? You can live this way! People do it all the time!" continuing to listen to depressing music from the likes of eminem and others with swear words and massive insults to society in general. Now don't get me wrong, our society can be improved, but this is not the way! Wonderful crowd control though. I mean there are 7 million of them in prison in the US right now and growing! I wish my son could have listenned to more of my input and less of "theirs"! They were just too much for us. "They" won....for now. I love my son just the same and although there will be no more money going his way that could help him buy any drugs or any help that can get him there, I will try to help him civilize when he gets out if he accepts it, God willing that I can live that long and have the energy to do it!
