It's strategy through it's terrorist proxies Hamas and Hezbolla to promote war with Israel destroying any chance of peace talks. Drive US out of Iraq. Nihilistic warfare till it's enemies get sick of the violence.

Ok so it's all Bush's fault. (I think the region presented a few problems prior to 2000)

But of course you didn't answer the question.

Possibly avoiding responsibility for making a decision.

The plan is not that different than that of Hitler in Nazi Germany: Demonize the Jew (and in this case America, as well) get the people to believe that Global domination is their birthright, and the final step--implimentation of the plan.

Just as the naysayers refused to see reason in dealing with Hitler before he began to absorb Europe, the Liberals will bleet and cry until Mahmoud Ahmadinejad nukes Israel, takes over Iraq and Saudi Arabia, sends Hezbollah to attack the US and it's interests, and eventual Islamization of the world (if he were to get that far).

The fools that refuse to deal with Iran now will rue the day they did not do so when 100s of thousands of deaths are required to deal with a "Greater Persion Empire" in the middle east.

That's not quite what the article said....

While it's true Iran is a Shiite stronghold and Hezbollah is IMO about to take over in Lebanon , it's has been the US "fueling" and supporting the Shiite's in Iraq(both Chalabi and Malaki).

Hamas is Sunni.
