Why are we spending billions of dollars on the war on drugs? When will we see results from those billions?

And the big question. If We are the beacon of morality on the planet, then why are so many people 1in 32 adults in jail or on probation?

They have been emboldened, they have been convinced they are winning, and they are now ramping up the offensive against our sons and daughters all because Baker and his pals want to preach to the world that we cannot win this war, while we are still in it. Happy now libs? Cause I'm damn well pissed...

I guess you and your ACLU buddies have a few more funerals to protest...

I have a CA DL and I was pulled over for driving 84 in a 65 zone in the state of NC (near city of Greensboro) I thought they will mail me a letter to tell me how much to pay for the fine so I threw away the ticket I got and since they never did I totally forgot about this whole thing. Then in Nov I got a letter from NC court telling me I will not be allowed to drive a car in NC anymore since I failed to show up in court, so I called the court and they told me I have to show up in person since I was over 80MPH. Now my question is should I spend $500 to $1000 plus (round trip tickets, hotel, rental car and a heavy fine) to go to NC to solve this issue so I can continue drive in NC (I don’t think I will go there anymore anyway), or I should just go ahead have my driving privilege taken away in NC. I mean this won’t affect my record in the state of CA right? I need some advice. Thank you.

Please add details.

To clarify: Justice is subjective and so there is no right or wrong answer. By provide, I mean that the government would grant free health care to its citizens. The citizens will probably be taxed, so it's not completely free.

hmm....we're well on our way. We already have our own anthem (Free Bird) and I know quite a few good ole' boys that like to say "the south will rise again" at every opportunity. And I bet we own more guns and are better target shooters than the rest of the country.

Just so you know (incase you might have missed it), this question isn't meant to be taken too seriously :)

Thanks for the answers!

Since we have this war against christmas and all the libs wanting to destoy everthing about the christmas season and claiming people who do not celebrate christmas are offended by it I propose this, everyone who is honestly offended by christmas should have to go to work christmas eve and day. They should be exempt from the federal holiday. What do YOU think?

President Bush ends every question about Iraq with, we will be here until our mission is accomplished, we are not pulling our troops out. Will his stubborn refusal to listen to anyone, even with Mr. Gates saying we are not winning in Iraq, cause Congress to feel impeachment may be in order?
