Since we have this war against christmas and all the libs wanting to destoy everthing about the christmas season and claiming people who do not celebrate christmas are offended by it I propose this, everyone who is honestly offended by christmas should have to go to work christmas eve and day. They should be exempt from the federal holiday. What do YOU think?

That is exactly what I think.

They preach and preach to be tolerant of others religions, yet when it comes to Christianity, they are the furthest thing from tolerant. That only applies to crazed lunatic religions who do suicide bombs... "Oh, that's just their religion... we have to respect that."

What a bunch of hypocrites.

They should work on Christmas so none of us Christians have to.

I don't celebrate christmas but believe everybody should have christmas break, the holidays are a time to recuperate and relax. Also, those who don't celebrate it deserve some time to spend with family at home to relax. That's what christmas celebraters do; relax. Picture this, hundreds of people who don't celebrate christmas are walking through the cold weather angry and incredibly frustrated due to stress, and hundreds of christmas celebraters sitting at home laughing drinking hot chocolote and enjoying their break, does that seem fair?

What are you talking about? There is no war in my home town. The churches are still having services, the mall is packed with shoppers, the Salvation Army's volunteers are ringing bells, people at work are donating food to the food pantry, necessities to the nursing homes, and having office parties. I think you need to leave the eggnog alone, it makes you paranoid.

Personally it seems a little immature to define someone on how they choose to greet you. Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, just say what you want without making a big deal out of it.

Isn't it strange that the very people who are down on Christmas, don't have a problem with having that day off of work and getting paid for it also. If they don't believe in Christmas then they should be made to work that day and not get paid any extra for it, other than their regular days pay.

only you can destroy your own xmas...why do other people have to worry about your problem on how other people celebrate...or do we follow your rules only just to make your little world a bit more stable...why are you concerned when other people get to do anything...trying to punish them? Christmas is in the heart, not the mall. the anti "xmas" deal is stupid...its just an abbreviation that Bill O'Reilly decided to attack to give him ratings

Ayep. They proclaim their so called "tolerance" and still get offended by a Christian holiday, and yet whine and complain that muslims have been jerked off a plane. What hypocrites!

Merry Christmas

Sure....go to work if you dont' want Christmas.

But I have to admit, we did enjoy all the Jewish holidays off in the NJ public school system.

My guess is that the so called ACLU offices will be open. I don't think anyone else is offended. I'm Jewish & I'm not offended.

I think this question has already been asked... that's what I think...

but to answer it again... few liberals actually feel this way, so if they do go to work, they will be the only ones there, since most likely their supervisors will be out... and many jobs require much more than one person, so it would be a waste of funds to have them there that day...
