Abortion rates have fallen dramatically since the oh-so-Feminist '80s, despite the fact that Roe v. Wade is still in place.

Why don't pro-life conservatives just stop try to make abortion a legal offense and instead use (LOVING not militant) Christianity to keep abortion rates low?

Whether or not you or I agree with the below statements is not the point, I'm just trying to show how the Republican party now has liberal aspects to it:

-Generating the largest national debt/deficit in history
-Expanding government powers to control issues such as gay marriage and abortion (while Republicans may be opposed to allowing those issues, only a liberal ideology would entail expanding the government to control them)
-Expanding medicare
-Stronger government

Why does our society need a political scapegoat?

Here's an example, 9/11.

Leading Conservatives: Blame Clinton and/or homosexuals.
Leading Democrats: Blame Bush and/or Rumsfeld.

Meanwhile, Osama bin Laden continues to gain recruits (thanks to the Iraq War outrage) and Iran's reach and power grows daily.

The real separation of church and state? What does this do?

The religious leaders in Iraq are political, have an army, fight for thier belief. I do not get it if we twisted the current governments arm to write the constitution the way we wanted and MR. President Bush aproved the whole thing with quite a celibration if I remember how did the religion get in?

legally advice?

I was going to do a kitchen in my new appartm. We made a contract with a person that have a business doing kitchen. The kitchen was due to august, and we are in december now and still the person hasn't made the kitchen. We made the contract in july and the contract says that she had 3 months to do the kitchen. We talk to her because we want our money back, because we are going to pay another person to do our kitchen, but she doesn't answer our phone calls, all we get is her parent voice mail. I talk to her this week, by miracle, and she told me that she was going to give the money on thursday, but she didn't call us to give us the money. Also, she ask me if we were going to use the same kitchen design that she was going to do for us. What should I do? keep waiting? sue her? Can she sue me for making her two many phone calls per day? Can she sue me for using the same kitchen design? Thanks

Hypothetical question...involving ethics..what do you think?

Your neighbor is acting irrational, you are unsure what the problem is..He kicks your door down, is visably upset, and tells you he is going to kill you and your family..You see him walk to his truck where there is a shotgun visable in the rear window on a gun rack...you have a gun and know how to use it....you have no doubt in your mind that he will use the gun..he is 30 feet away from you and your family...What would you do...would you shoot him?..If so, at what point? would you wait for him to reach the truck? open the trucks door? have the gun in his hands,? point it at you?, or your family..?
