Why do people use such overblown and hyperbolic talk when describing the beliefs of those the perceive to be on the opposite end of the political spectrum?

my grandma once told me that when she was young she came as an immigrant over here and that migration promised her to give her resindence if she told them who passed her over here she did and she did get her reci dency but now shes mexican again. now they still do this. if you were in this situation would you have told them who brought you? do you think what she did was rite? i want sum opinions or answers

I won a dresser from an Ebay seller in the Orlando area. He offered to deliver it. I was not home when it arrived, so I agree to Paypal him. When I got home I was shocked that it was trash. It took him a month to finally email asking for payment. Honestly, I thought he was embarassed to ask for it because he knew full well it was trash. This week he threatened me with negative feedback, when I said fine. He is now telling me that Ebay is a legally binding contract and he is going to take me to Small Claims Court. I have no use for this item and told him he can have it back, and he doesn't want it, only the money. HELP!? I contacted Ebay and they cannot answer. They are dealing with the seller on their end. Any ideas??

I'll admit George Bush has his fair share of flaws, and some arguew against him with good arguments. However, some seem like they oppose Bush just for the sake of doing it, either to conform, or fit in. Why do they do this if they do not know what they are talking about? Bush is protecting us from Ahmadinejad's ideal of a world-wide Islamic theology, and the troops are very brave for volunteering. Bush may overall be a bad president, but why do people act like he's the Devil?

Federal immigration agents arrested six illegal immigrants Wednesday who had security badges that gave them access to restricted areas of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, including the tarmac.

The immigrants, all of Mexico, worked installing drywall for T.C. Drywall, Inc. of Alpharetta, according to a statement from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

None of the men was considered a security threat.

ICE continues to investigate the circumstances of the immigrants' employment and possession of the restricted access badges, ICE spokesman Marc Raimondi said. The six likely will be deported to Mexico.

The arrests are a part of ICE's "critical infrastructure worksite" focus on facilities such as airports, power plants, oil refineries and military bases. The goal is to protect against the risk of terrorism posed by unauthorized individuals working in secure areas.

"Hartsfield-Jackson International is one of the busiest airports in the country," said Kenneth Smith, special agent-in-charge of the ICE Office of Investigations in Atlanta. "These facilities must know that the people who have access to their sensitive areas are entitled to such access."

The men were arrested early Wednesday in Hartsfield's south terminal, said Smith.

They were on their way to work, he said.

after the news today will he still stay the course. the PM of Iraq snubbed the pResident in a most important meeting and Ahmadinejad pleads with the American people to ask Bush to pull our troops out of this most unpopular war. Are there things that we should or shouldn't do when we meet with the defendants attorneys? I've heard that they are also trying to see if you'd impress the jury if the case goes to court. What does that mean? What would impress the jury or make a bad impression on the jury?

Is prostitution really unethical and wrong if the sex worker himself/herself willing wishes to offer such services? OK. I understand that the sex trade can (and no doubt does) lead to forced prostitution - and I find that 100% unacceptable, disgraceful and of couse unlawful. But if the industry were properly regulated with earnings declared and a government health check scheme initiated, and all sex workers worked in the profession of their own free will, surely there shouldn't be a problem...
