The ticket was issued in Wisconsin. About 6 months ago I was caught speeding in Illinois, this was my first ticket. I chose to take a defensive driving course to get the ticket taken off my record. If I choose to go to court for the ticket I just received in Wisconsin, will the judge be able to see that I had a previous ticket? Can I claim that the Wisconsin ticket is my first?

Illegal aliens already are not required to have insurance or a drivers license they all no the speak english when the police pull them over knowing the police cannot stay there all day until someone can translate spainsh into english they just let them go or obtain a false statement and let them go.. I even see in my hometown paper the police take illegal aliens home if they are caught drinking and driving for it takes to long to process them and do all the paper work on them. Why are illegal aliens above the law ? They get to use any document they want without any fear of something happening the moment anybody annouces immigration investigations start state employes have been fired for evening asking if the paper work the illegal aliens have is false or what can happen happen if it is false they now cannot even disclose that. So why are illegal aliens above the law and why do so many of you support them ?

Witness 1 testifies for prosecution about material statements made during a conversation with defendent. Defense wants to put defendant on the stand to testify that witness 1 was lying, he actually threatened defendant.

Witness 1 will just say that defendant's statements are all admissions.

How can we get hearsay witness 1 hearsay admitted?

Witness 1 was available, so cannot use 804. Can we use 803(3)? But witness 1 was not expressing his own state of mind, but threateneing defendant.

As in asserting the false idea that they decided the election. Is there no longer such thing as due process and people's protection under such clauses?

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's Remarks to the Council on Foreign Relations

In an address October 31, 2006 said

U.S. policy must be unequivocal: Iran must not build or acquire nuclear weapons.

We have to keep all options on the table, including being ready to talk directly to Iranians should the right opportunity present itself. U.S. policy must be unequivocal: Iran must not build or acquire nuclear weapons.Direct talks, if they do nothing else, lets you assess who's making the decisions -- what their stated and unstated goals might be.

Okay, so I've been reading up on Chaos Theory, especially in regards to sociology. I seem to understand it fairly well; it's pretty simple stuff. My only question is what political system (i.e. socialism, democracy, anarchism, etc.) does Chaos Theory support? I would think it'd be somewhere in the field of anarchism and one of its many derivitives, considering how Chaos Theory explains the inevitability of everything; but I was reading an article on the internet that sort of justifies Karl Marx's "dialectic materialism" and his ideas of communism. So which is it?

GREELY,CO. Nov.06 During the run-up to the invasion of Iraq, President Bush and his aides sternly dismissed suggestions that the war was all about oil. "Nonsense," Def. Sec'y Donald Rumsfeld declared. "This is not about that," said White House spokesman Ari Fleischer as a reason to stay in Iraq.
Now, more than 3 1/2 years later someone else is asserting that the war IS about oil.
President Bush himself.
"If the United States pulled its troops out prematurely & surrendered the country to insurgents", he warns audiences just before the elections, "it would effectively hand over Iraq's considerable petroleum reserves to terrorists who would use it as a weapon against other countries".

Does this man realize that people pay attention to what he says?
So. Now. I see. Since we do not have a hold on the oil, since we do not CONTROL it, it will be used by terrorists!
Oh my God. Doesn't he realize that others see HIM as a terrorist?

It's always been about the oil. Always.

I know someone who pled guilty to a sexual assault case two decades ago because the prosecutors were threatening lifetime imprisonment if found guilty at trial but a decade if he pled guilty without a trial and jury, thus saving the state time and money. Although the accusation was false, he was afraid of getting the maximum imprisonment, thus the plea agreement. How does one go about conducting an investigation to reverse such a case? Does the former defendant need to hire an attorney and investigator, or can they ask the state to conduct a DNA test? Or should he just live with his fate, because there's no hope?
