The US should accept Iran in a State of Nuclear Fallout

2006-11-29 21:47:11 · answer #2 · answered by rjf 3 · 1 0

probably not. because they not only pose a threat to us, but to the whole world. All of the other nuclear states, excepting North Korea, have proved that they are responsible enough to know that if these weapons are used, there is no going back. Iran's president shows no sign of having self control and nuclear weapons should not be at his disposal.

if they ever actually get a nuclear weapons program together, which is at least 8-10 years away (if that's even what they're trying to do- which a recent cia report found no firm evidence of)

My feeling is that if one country has nuclear weapons, all should be allowed to have the capability.

No. We have a right to defend ourselves. Iran is our enemy. They get nukes and Israel goes first, then a major American city.
