It is beyond me and most U.S. citizens as to why there are still those in our country who display unwavering support for our incompetent, divisive, foolish, and failed president.

I am doing a deal with someone who is leaving the country she has Cingular Service for over 4years has 10months remaining on contract and 3K Rollover Minutes, She doesn't want to burn her credit nor pay the cancellation fee. So I offered to accept financial responsibility with this, since she had so many roll over minutes left.

Now I called cingular and asked them how the process works.
They told me to call a number, with Her on the line, She must have them Access her records, then they collect my info, We Both agree.

They Told me a $18.00, Activation Fee Applied (understandable) and 11Months of service would be added to the Contract.. Is this legal, can they do this, or is the rep trying to get a Commision.

The Person With The contract is in Illinois and I am in New Jersey, are there any laws protecting the consumer from Extending Contracts during a Transfer Of Contract...

Thank You!

I am doing a paper on the juvenile prison system and I would like anyone who has ever been or who knows anything about the juvenile prison system to thoughtfully answer the following questions?

Have you or someone you know experience, or view sexual or physical abuse in a juvenile prison. If so, describe the instance(s).

How are the living conditions, rehab programs and other aspects of the prison? Productive?

If you could reconstruct the juvenile prison system, what things would you change and why?

My frienda and I were debating over the illegal immigration issue today and he said that he blames the government for not having the right processes for them obviously since it became such an issue. I thought the issue was them breaking the law and diregarding what was already stated as the law in the first place. So what IS the government doing right now about the issue of illegals in the US?

when she tried to appoint Jack Murtha (caught on tape violating ethics rules and saying he may be willing to accept a bribe later) and then trying to appoint Alcee Hastings to a committee chair, when he was the 6th ever federal judge impeached?

Does this not convince Americans that Democrats are no more serious about corruption than the Republicans?

If corporal punishment is considering using violence to get one's way, then why are cops allowed to use it? I mean, parents and teachers aren't supposed to swat kids on the butt, but police can drag people out a car against their will, tackle them to the ground, hit them with batons, and even shoot them. Isn't this a double-standard? I mean, why must parents use a hands-off approach when exercising control but police don't have to? Is it right or wrong to use force to get one's way? If violence begets violence, shouldn't everyone, including police refrain from using it?
