when she tried to appoint Jack Murtha (caught on tape violating ethics rules and saying he may be willing to accept a bribe later) and then trying to appoint Alcee Hastings to a committee chair, when he was the 6th ever federal judge impeached?
Does this not convince Americans that Democrats are no more serious about corruption than the Republicans?

I'm not angry with her at all. I'm glad she is in the position she is in. She is going to save the RNC a lot of money.

Pelosi will be in long enough for the Dems to say they put the first woman up as speaker. Siding with Murtha and backing Hastings says what her standards are. The dems know if she tries to lead them down the progressive path '08 is a lost cause. I see her being replaced around August and a more conservative dem put in her place.

It probably does. But, sad to say America was tired of Republicans not acting like Republicans so they decided to give Nancy and gang a shot.
