Some say they have the same effect on policy because to prevent an attack, clearance and security need to be jacked up and officiated more. Their motives may be different, but mercenaries don't have the same psyche profile as criminals since they're contracted to fight although they can be incarcerated. How d'u feel about these groups?

if i catch someone stealing something out of a car, for example, and he flees, can i use any force needed to restrain him til the cops show up?
also, if i see a prowler on my property and he leaves before i can confront him, can i use force to bring him back to my property to wait for the cops?
what if i dont if he stole anything or not?

I'm really on the fence about immigration. From studying demographics and history, we know that we need "fresh blood" to stay strong as a nation. And I also believe that if you're willing to make the incredible journey to El Norte, you're probably good enough, tough enough to make it here. Everybody knows that immigrants 2nd generation outperforms "regular" American's in almost every measure - right? Actually I don't know that, haven't seen any solid evidence.

But... what about the healthcare costs, the language costs, the crime rate... sure there's lots of talk, but where's the evidence?

This is a plea for reliable data to inform this debate, pro and con. If you supply it, you'll get the points - and my gratitude.

my wife, just out of pregnancy with a newborn, is being sued by Capital One for a $2000.00 credit card debt. We offered to pay the minimum but they refused. I'm unsure if I could even afford bankruptcy. We have a large mortgage, living expenses with no disposable income for any debt-consolidation. Facing pending foreclosure. If we are summoned to appear before the court, what would the court possibly expect us to do except what we could afford to do?????? what could we expect from the court from credit card company suits??????

What do you think about the War in Iraq?
