Support the party without any thought to anything except the party? Bush gets a free ride on all kinds of abuse of powers but that is OK? (for republicans). NYC'ers need not answer with the same glib BS as usual - the sun doesn't only shine on NYC - and 9/11 effected more that just you.

As a Republican I am not a senseless drone. I never give anyone a free ride but I also don't stereotype all people of a political party together.
Great example - Not all democrats are mindless, liberals that whine unless they get their way and bilk millions of dollars in welfare programs for persons that don't want to work.
As for 9/11 it affect everyone in America different ways, New York saw it a a national and personal attack that rocked their sense of security. Some persons saw it as a national attack, some a one time thing, some a fact of life and some didn't care at all as it effected no one they knew.

I don't think it's just Republicans. Look at all Clinton got away with. And I'm not talking about just Monica Lewinsky. Whitewater, Tyson stock deal, and the sexual abuse charges by several women.
But I see what you're saying. It's ALL powerful rich men. We little guys don't stand a chance.

What abuse of powers? If anyone abused his powers was Clinton..,look at all the pardons he did upon his exiting the white house and most of them were his buddies. If you are referring to the war in Iraq, guess Clinton thought Iraq was a threat as well, remember he also bombed Iraq and got on television with his public address and said Sadam had weapons and was a threat to the USA.And that was a chickensh*t statement about NYC,yeh it effected alot of people but not as much as New Yorkers..,and I live in Kansas.
