I don't think so. The deception wouldn't constitute entrapment because the John still has the optiion not to go through with the crime. He is not coerced.
entrapment
n. in criminal law, the act of law enforcement officers or government agents inducing or encouraging a person to commit a crime when the potential criminal expresses a desire not to go ahead. The key to entrapment is whether the idea for the commission or encouragement of the criminal act originated with the police or government agents instead of with the "criminal." Entrapment, if proved, is a defense to a criminal prosecution. The accused often claims entrapment in so-called "stings" in which undercover agents buy or sell narcotics, prostitutes' services or arrange to purchase goods believed to be stolen. The factual question is: Would Johnny Begood have purchased the drugs if not pressed by the narc?

By the definition, I might be wrong, but I still would see the responsibility being on the John. Even with the cop's having deceived him, he still would know the possibility of deception, thus he knows also the risks of trusting the potential cop.

No, but like someone said go to the bar. A couple of drinks, more for you considering your asking this question and the only woman I gather you can get is a hooker or a fat or ugly chcik, so you best liqour up!! You can try the net also. I know from experience, that fat chicks who have no life and check their ad every day are easy scores. Save the hooker money and buy yourself some condoms and go to matchdoctor.com

No. If she is a cop she does not have to tell you, and if she is a cop and you solicit services from her you will most likely end up in jail with the real hookers.

Actually each state is different. I believe in Nevada they do have to tell you if they are a law enforcement officer. I know, I know, there is legal prostitution there, but there are also illegal hookers as well.

No, I do not. I can lie about not being a cop and when you pull out your wangerwingerdangledorpher I will cuff you. You will scream entrapment but it is not. When you come to me out of your own free will prepared to give me money for blank blanking you, then I can lie up a storm and I always do. Ha.
So, cutie, I'll be seeing you....soon?

She doesn't have to say a word. Most likely she'll say no regardless. She doesn't have to tell the truth on the open outside world. When in court, she does!

she's not going to say anything. she'll probably lick her upper row of teeth in a seductive manner and you won't even care who's a damn cop anymore.

No. That's why it is a sting. Kind of like asking if the fish is fresh at a restuarant.
