As in asserting the false idea that they decided the election. Is there no longer such thing as due process and people's protection under such clauses?

Which because it is a Federal election concerning the protections under the federal constitution and its provisions places it well within Supreme Court jurisdiciton. The question is, why argue something they don't know anything about?

Good question. I didn't read the whole opinion (my insomnia isn't THAT bad) . But I read enough to know what the decision was. It was that FL should obey it's own laws. What a radical concept! No wonder people were outraged!

Mr.B, lighten up. Remember where you are, for crissakes. This forum is filled to overflowing with people who go on ad nauseum and ad infinitum about subjects they know absolutely nothing about. Likewise the media (in general). Garbage in, garbage out.

Besides, this matter pertains to issues over two years old. Let's talk about what is being done NOW to insure that the '08 elections are not a repeat in any way. Here in Florida (aka The Plywood State), there are mid-term election results STILL undecided. Totally embarrassing and outrageous. Let's all put our energy into doing whatever is within our individual and collective power to do, to make sure there are no more similar threats to our democracy...not debating issues that are unresolvable. OK?

Repubican Scalia stopped the second recount of votes and this handed the election to Bush.

Just ask how many people have read it. I haven't.

Everything I know about this case is from the media. Same as them. Different media.

No there is not because the Congress has been usurped by the tyrant Bush, and that is why the Democrats are going to investigate Executive Abuses.
