they still have the support of several of the representants who are republicans ???

i also would like to add that they ( the democrats ) were chosen because the Americans expect them to resolve that issue and all of the other issues created by the republicans and that the republicans know that America will not tolerate they interfering with a solution .

What does it say about republicans when 45% of a certain Florida district still votes for Mark Foley? This is the man who resigned, effective immediately, because of his molestation (not proven "physical" yet, but certainly mentally and emotionally) of minors - boys, no less? How delusional are you that you feel you MUST vote your party even though that candidate is basically a sex-offender?

If all 50 states came to allow same sex marriages, even if it was one by one,and 20 years down the line for all states to allow it, what would happen to the Defense of Marriage Act which states that marriage is between a man and a woman and that another state doesn't have to honor another states same sex marriage laws? Would it be invalid?

Since the election Tuesday, there has been a lot of talk of certain politicians being "lame ducks." I was just wondering what this term meant, and perhaps how we came to use it in regards to politicians.

Thanks!

I mean it's like at one point in time, everything political just flopped around. I mean look at it, awhile ago democrats were the rednecks and were pro slavery and founded the KKK, today it's the exact opposite, today it's the republicans that are rednecks, I mean what happened, when did it all change, when did democrats become the heroes? I'm not Republican or Democrat, I'm just confused as hell. Can someone please answer that question, I just wanna know what happened to politics and when did this all hapen?

A question was asked about free legal service in Canada. The correct answer is yes, Canada does have a free legal aid service for those that qualify. If you don't meet the requirements of that service you don't get it period. Your next option is to pay full pop or if your lawyer thinks you have a case and there is a financial gain then they do something called pro-bono.

on television, detectives use flashlights when they could just as easily turn on a light first to check out a room. Is this a television thing to make it seem more suspenseful or is it done in real life.

The insurance policy was in My hubands and my name, our son was listed as a driver, but my husband is the only one named in a civil suit seeking 15,000 dollars in damages. The IL statute of Limitations on this accident and claim expires on Nov 13, 2006. Thanks!!!
