A question was asked about free legal service in Canada. The correct answer is yes, Canada does have a free legal aid service for those that qualify. If you don't meet the requirements of that service you don't get it period. Your next option is to pay full pop or if your lawyer thinks you have a case and there is a financial gain then they do something called pro-bono.

Many people do not know how to put an answer to the group. I don't yet, and I was going to put that question out there.

It can take much longer to pick a best answer than it can to just go around answering questions. And you only get 3 points for doing it.

I try to look every answer over carefully before I decide, cause many people put so much into their answers. Also, to get the info out of them. That is the real point of answering the question.

But I guess people sometimes get all caught up in getting points.

I think you're answer just gave me some info i needed. And thank you.

It's for the points, my dear. People just pick any answer to get one point. Yahoo answers is just like a sickness to some people. They spend all day and half the night in here just to run up their point total.

Some do it for points while others know everything and will type away making @sses out of theirselves with their incorrect information.
