In Aug of 2005 we were displaced by katrina. We eventually moved to Massachusetts to find work but the cost of living here is too much and we can not financially make it, we are struggling to get by. Are there any grants in Louisiana that will finance the move of our house hold items and ourselves back to Louisiana. Our home has been repaired and we want to return. It will cost us about $4,000 to move our family and house hold effects back. I know Mississippi has a grant to help people in our position. Please no silly answers.

in afghanistan, the WHOLE coalition {US, Britain, Nato, Etc.} has around 50,000 combined. there is violence, but nothing like Iraq.

Iraq: around between 140,000-200,000 troops, iraq looks smaller then afganistan, out of control violence

if we reduced our troop level by 100,000 then there would be less americans on muslim soil {that is a very serious problem, too many americans on muslim soil}. and, if we had FULL peace talks with al-sadr, and the insurgents, we could solve a lot of those problems {many groups have offered to halt attacks if withdrawl plans are made} and we should devote more resources to the Iraqi security forces, instead of more things for our forces, because iraq will defend it's own land someday and they need gear.

what do you think. agree or disagree, let me know if there are certain parts you have opinions about. PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME, this is what i think would help iraq

I want us out of Iraq.

When you really do your homework about Islamic culture, you see a durable 'anti-non-muslim-culture' mentality. We have seen this trend for the last thosand years, and the exceptions have been few.

Turkey is one exception, but these anomolies are to be expected. After all, Muslims are humans, and its hard to imagine any belief being 100% successful at brainwashing any portion of humankind 100% of the time.

Historically, we have had the "Turkey" exceptions, but there is no postive trend, irrespective of progressive technologies. Think of Islam more as a resistance to progress than a religion, and your much closer to the mark.

You will dismiss people like me as 'haters' until you get off your lazy toosh and do some hard study on the subject. Its truely is one of those things you just cant fathom until you pull back the cutains yourself.

Suppose the govt. survives. So what? It's still an Islamic country. It will have terror camps, as all do.

Bill and Hillary Clinton have spoken in favor of the estate tax, and in 2000 Bill vetoed a bill seeking to end it. But the Clintons have set up a contract trust that allows them to substantially reduce the amount of inheritance tax their estate will pay when they die.
Hillary, for her part, has written and spoken extensively about the right of children to make major decisions regarding their own lives, including having abortions without parental notification.

But she barred 13-year-old daughter Chelsea from getting her ears pierced and forbid the teen from watching MTV or HBO.

What issues matter the most to you, and who do you believe will stand up for you the most on those issues? Please, no immature, partisan rants and attacks. I'm looking for serious and thoughful answers to help me. Thanks!

My wife was forced to buy a prescription drug plan by the U.S. government a few months ago. She was told if she didn't they would charge her more. If she waited the U.S. government would penalize her. Today we got a notice that the rates are going to same the same but the private company that actually provides the plan is raising all the co-pays. This doesn't make sense... If this is supposed to be a government program, why are we forced to buy the plan from an insurance company?

Question Details: WASHINGTON - The White House and Democratic leaders in Congress called Sunday for a criminal probe into former Rep. Mark Foley electronic messages to teenage boys. a lurid scandal that has put House Republicans in political peril. White House counselor Dan Bartlett called the allegations against Foley shocking. He said President Bush hadn't learned of Foley's inappropriate e-mails to a 16-year-old boy and instant messages to other boys before the news broke last week. Foley, R-Fla., quit Congress on Friday after the disclosure of the e-mails he sent to a former congressional page and sexually suggestive instant messages he sent to other high school pages. Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid of Nevada called the Foley case "repugnant, but equally as bad is the possibility that Republican leaders in the House of Representatives knew there was a problem and ignored it to preserve a congressional seat this election year." "Under laws that Congressman Foley helped wri
