The real culprits are the ones who have blown this out of proportion.

The best quote I read about the whole thing was in another article. "Is the White House too stupid to know he was making a joke about them being stupid"
Who really cares what John Kerry says anyway. Does that have anything to do with anyone you're voting for? The Republicans want to get everyone fired up over this to take away from the issues. It's pretty sleazy politics and both sides do it.

I truly don't think Kerry has that kind of power or influence. You are thinking of Bush maybe. You know, he is the guy who told all those lies to start a big war to get Saddam (the guy who pissed off Daddy). Now he has the power to kill troops by opening his mouth.

Actually, I think it was Bush that put them there. He would be the one most responsible (and congress at the time) for the death of American troops. Words never killed anybody. Kerry has a reason to be antiwar; he was a soldier in Vietnam. Bush has never been in the military and has no idea what he's subjecting our troops to.

And if a troop landed in the military, because of his underperformance in school, is killing him, he did it to himself

Kerry hasn't killed any troops.
And he hasn't "empowered" anyone to do so.
Bush is the one that has put the troops in harm's way, in a place they don't belong, with no clear mission, not enough support, and for reasons he lied about. While he hasn't "killed" any himself either, their deaths are on his shoulders.

Just because he was in Vietnam does't mean s***. What matters is the fact that he became a "turncoat" shortly thereafter. Somebody should take that head of hair he's got, cut it off, make a big, oily ball out it and cram it down his hateful throat!
