Can anyone tell me the views republicans and democrats on a millitary draft (conscription)??? any specific links or current events would help. thanks in advance.

Well, my actual question is, what's going on with the government issues in America? November is coming up, so that means voting time... Anyone have a clue on what's going on? Are they going to issue greencards to those 12 million illegal immigrants in America?
What do you think they should do?

Do you care if they get the greencards atleast by being in America for atleast 5 years? Or you don't care?

I guess, my opinion is that, there have been some people that came from their country and they were very young... they didn't know anything back then... Should we judge them?

Some people are not to be blamed on because they have been brought to this country.. I've heard a lot of people that are here illegally, and they want to be here, they're really smart, no criminal records(as some people think). They can't even work after 18 because they don't have anything.
What would you say, if you knew someone that was about to be deported? Or would you care?

Would you help them in any way?

It sure appeared to me Lt. Gov. Michael Steele was flip-flopping like crazy on the issue of the Iraq war. Stay the course. The course is not working. Don't pull our troops out. Give Iraq a deadline, and if they don't stand up, we will stand down. This sure seemed like he couldn't tell where America stands on this war, and was trying to cover his butt either way. How lame can you get?

A few years back my parents deeded their house to me. Shortly after, I created a “Deed of Conveyance” stating that I the Grantor give my mother the grantee “Life Estate” with the remainder to the Grantor/Me. Now, here’s the issue. My Mother is terminally ill and may die very soon. I have no clue of the process that needs to be taken upon my mother’s death in order to seize the house. I have disgruntled family members who will do anything possible to see that I don’t get the house. I would assume that there’s nothing they can do because it is clearly stated in the deed of conveyance that the remainder/house fall back to me. So, can anyone help me with the steps that need to be taken upon my mother’s death? Also, my mother is no longer living in the house and I fear that the house is being neglected and I was wondering if I have any rights to enter the premises to ensure upkeep.

the problem is the police can't do anything cause of the laws bush passed with stalking and being abused but I was luckly than most. The other thing is sometimes cops if you have a medical contion they won't do anything to help you even if you are a victim. Why do you think that is?

Just a question.
Why would a democrat raise minumum wage and make everything more expensive? It common sense - If retailers buy more expensive cause minumum wage is high, they sell expensive. People buy expensive, they get poor. Company's cant pay workers cause thry cant afford the min. wage increase. Jobs are lost. Jobs go

I just saw this guy on tv. Before I saw him, all I kept hearing about was how he would be the first black Senator in the south since Reconstruction. Really. After all this time, this is as black as they can get?

And wtf? Is he even really black? If he is, then damn, the whole world must be black then.

Or is it just politically advantageous to call himself black, even though his closest black relative lived during the Polk administration?

I recently had a fiancee visa approved by the USCIS, in which they told me it was sent to the National Visa Center. I was wondering if anyone knew the current processing times for a I-129F Fiancee visa at the NVC.
