the problem is the police can't do anything cause of the laws bush passed with stalking and being abused but I was luckly than most. The other thing is sometimes cops if you have a medical contion they won't do anything to help you even if you are a victim. Why do you think that is?

Unfortunately I've discovered that the victim has no rights, but, you can put a restraining order on this person. If they come anywhere near you, call you or try to make any contact with you, they can be arrested. Good luck!!!!

Sorry, but stalking is a state law matter, and the only effect Bush has had is taking money and police officers to Iraq and his corporate friends instead of local policing.

If your "medical condition" is a mental health one, you're probably right. If you have made unsupported accusations in the past, that also counts against you. Police are strung out because most of them are reservists and either are or have been in Iraq, or are not coming back, at least not in any condition to do police work.

Learn how to defend yourself, try to get proof that someone is stalking you, and keep trying to get their attention when you have something to show for it.

your question is not complete , but there are anti stalking laws in place, you were nearly abused ?? don't make much sense, are you saying attempted ? if so then there are laws in place for that, if the cops won't do any thing go to the court house and see a judge ,he should help you if your case is legitimate,

Most courts will allow you to file a restraining order if you fear the person and can show 'violence' or 'future threat of harm.' then once the restraining order is issued and the person violates it, the cops will then be able to arrest him/her.
