I used to vote for the lesser of two evils when candidates ran. But, why should I vote for any evil at all.

Are there any other people out there that are not "party" brainwashed - That see the fact that BOTH democrats and republicans are only at this game for the fame, power and money?

Great question.. and I Hope that lots will listen............ its pertinent.

When both candidates are so evil, as they are........ one must look to the INDEPENDANTS who are running. I can tell you right now that the INDEPENDANTS are usually conservatives who do try and lead by using the Consitution and other conservative values.

Its just that the MEDIA is controlled by one of the parties and so they are not safe to trust. Look for other candidates running.

Now, I KNOW you will say... well we dont know them, SEEK THEM OUT. They run. And I KNOW you will say........ he wont win!!

It does NOT matter if they win or not. Yes, we want the most righteous and best person to lead our nation. BUT we are accountable for those who WE personally vote in and how we came to the conclusion as well. I KNOW that the Lord does hold us accountable for this choice.

Be wise and be prayerful. Look at ALL options. Even if your candidate who may be a Independant and has little votes, it does not matter. What matters is you chose RIGHT, at least in your heart.

There are no two seperate parties any more. I beleive in my heart that there is a bigger group of persons running our Govt now and they try to pin one party against another so you think that there really is a choice. I dont beleive this. This govt system is corrupt.

Be prayerful and I truly beleive the Lord will lead you to know whom would be the greatest candidate.

Further, I would leave you with the thought that "evil flourishes when good men do nothing".

I know many who don't vote at all... never have. This is a tragic thing.

God speed..

I am registered to a party but don't vote partisan, It is tough to vote when all seem to be evil. I like you try to vote for the lesser of evils rather than loose the privilege of voting. I read the candidates blurbs and what the pros and cons are saying and try to make the best choice I can even though I am often disappointed in the candidates I have chosen at times I still believe we have the best country and there are a lot of good people, unfortunately the best people don't want to run for office.

It isn't just a two party system. It's hard to answer your question because I don't know your political leanings. If you beleive in Lower taxes, a smaller goverment and more freedom, Vote Libertarian. www.lp.org

However if you beleive that america should be a socialist country, meaning the goverments takes more of a role in peoples lives then vote green. www.gp.org

The great thing about these parties is the put their issues on the table, theres no side-stepping them like the two major parties do, Check out the libertarian issues, they don't beat around the bush.

Most people shun the two party system, they say it's throwing their vote away. However, third parties are growing within recent years because of disaffected voters. It sends message and being a member of the Libertarian party (the largest third party), I know that they still have the power to accomplish things and tip the balance of power towards freedom.

Whatever you do, don't give up, ignoring the polticians in office only allows them to waste more our money and take more of our freedoms.

If you believe the current candidate is evil, then the important thing is to replace him. As long as you don't believe the new guy will be worse, it is the best path.

Because you know the current person is horrible, so give the next person a chance to surprise you. There are a small handful of honest people out there.

Vote third party then. If that is not an option, then vote for the lesser of two evils. Although it may appear to be counter-productive at times, it is our civic duty to vote.
