Yes the war is about oil and something bigger. No offense intended but to quote that hackneyed phrase "It's the economy stupid". It's also about containment. Iraq and Afghanistan are pinchers on Iran. Once that's sorted, there's a back door or off-shore battle ground, to take on China when it, as it will, decides to flex it's muscles.

George W. Bush thought that Iraq had W.M.D.'s (weapons of Mass Destruction), so he and the U.N. went there to go finding. Iraq did no longer have any, yet George W. Bush, being oh so smart, desperate to bypass to conflict against Iraq besides. Why? no person particularly knows. perhaps he's in basic terms your regularly occurring anti-Non-Christian conservative ****.

AMERICA PLANNED TO CONQUER IRAQ TO SEIZE THEIR OIL MONTHS BEFORE SEPTEMBER 11.

A U.S. government report from before September 11 proves that America was already planning a military conquest of Iraq. The war is now almost impossible to justify as a "war on terrorism".

"As the United States prepares for war with Iraq, a report commissioned
early in George Bush's presidency has surfaced, showing that the US
knew it was running out of oil and foreshadowing the possible need
for military intervention to secure supplies."

against Iraq to secure control of its oil."

Is it a conflict of interests that most people in Bush's U.S. government have substantial personal financial interests in the oil industry?

It's not about the oil, it's about westernization of Iraq. Forming their country into a puppet of ours. One way to control an idealogical principle is through an equivalent psychological force. Through pressures of foundation in the sense of desirable traits relative to their sense of security, duty, and reliability as to contradict or bring to light the religious psychological capitalizations to which they are victim, and bog down their underground network of propaganda in such a way as to create traitor out of honor so as to undermine their efforts and further promote the sphere of Western influence in the Middle East we may be able to isolate the catastrophe that is becoming more prevalent by the hour. As it seems from the American perspective concern for the future security of the United States and its allies bring forth a total requirement to restructure the viewpoints and beliefs of such a hostile territory, but with those desires open-warfare merely exponentiates the strength and political persuasiveness of the adverse social structure. So in lue of the current American theory to broadsword everything that may display hostility toward the United States derives a necessity, in line with the intent of Westernization, to subdue the threat and transform the area of interest with maximum effectiveness.

No, I don't think it's about oil at all; besides the war being about preemptive strikes against an intolerant regime in response to reports of WMDs- it is also about peace, freedom, democracy, and establishing American Christianity throughout the world- saving an entire country of sheeple from death, oppression, and a ruthless dictator!
Oh shiite- I could hardly type this without falling off my chair from laughter- praise allah, I'm funny!
Of course it's about the oil.....

The war in Iraq is about oil. If it was about terrorism, we would have went after Osama. Some people still don't know the difference between the two, because this administration blurred the lines for them, to confuse them.

Does it really matter what the war in Iraq is about? Shouldn't we support our soldiers and civilians who are over there regardless of what we think? Everybody is going to be divided over what this war is about. Everybody thinks their opinion is the correct one and believes everybody else is wrong. Just support our men and women, pray for their safe return, and quit griping about stuff you aren't fully informed about!! Most people base their opinions off of the news, which only shows you the bad stuff. If they showed you the good stuff, nobody would be upset and they would have nothing to talk about.

God bless our troops and bring them home safe regardless of the reason we are there!!!!!
