I like to wear black, so carrying a black baby might not show off my clothes well enough. Do you think I should go for a polynician baby instead? I guess I can always accessorize the baby, huh?

I am an ROTC cadet, and I had some questions for people who have been there and done that. First of all, do you feel that ROTC prepares you for being an officer in the military?
Also, for those in MI, as an officer, do you get to do much field work, or is it a lot of paper/desk work?
I want to join the military, and I don't want to be behind a desk or just managing and giving out orders all the time. I want to be actually doing things.
Any wisdom you could offer would be much appreciated. Thank you.

What do you think of Cheney's statement that Hillary Clinton is potentially a formidable Presidential candidate for 2008 (see link below)? Do those of you who dislike Hillary have concrete reasons for doing so? I've yet to see anything besides "I just don't like her" or "She's a Clinton, that's all that needs to be said." I'd really appreciate hearing some solid reasons that she is not suitable for the Presidency. Thanks all!

George Casey, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad answer questions during a press conference at the heavily fortified Green Zone in Baghdad, Iraq, on Tuesday. Casey said Iraqi forces should be able to take full control of security in the country within the next 18 months with minimal American support.

Baghdad — The top American military commander said the USA is having a terrible time winning the Iraq war due to the insurgents fighting like there is no tomorrow. The USA military was fooled into believing the war would be easy. Bush should feel ashamed. The USA will end up like Vietnam. All will suffer defeat due to not learning the lessons of long ago.

Do we have to have a specific reason to modify current custody papers other than would like to be with the child more. Do we have to prove that she is not a good mother? Trying to get other opinions than the lawyer we spoke with hoping maybe someone that has had this situation knows some loop holes.

Does it say that corporations or companies that have a website must accomodate the website to be compatible with programs that help blind people navigate? Then why is the NFB suing Target and using this Act as it's tool? Will websites from now on rely mainly on text and eliminate graphical content as to not confuse the programs and make it easier for blind people to use?

Immigrants come here and start restaurants, nail care salons, little shops, etc. and they cannot speak English.

If you say the WEALTHY should be made to help the poor who do not have advantages - I say BUNK.

Is the level of political correctness turning Britain in to a racist nation? Has the freedom to voice our honest opinions without getting jumped on made a bad situation worse?

I ask because after a recent visit to my local pub, I was shocked by the visciousness of my usually placid buddies on the subject of immigration. Also does it make me racist when I find it hard to disagree with many of thier opinions.

The main topic was on migrant workers, 400,000 of them when only 13,000 were expected, and unemployment rates for UK citizens up by the biggest jump in many years was their cause for concern.

Sensible opinions please.
