What do you think of Cheney's statement that Hillary Clinton is potentially a formidable Presidential candidate for 2008 (see link below)? Do those of you who dislike Hillary have concrete reasons for doing so? I've yet to see anything besides "I just don't like her" or "She's a Clinton, that's all that needs to be said." I'd really appreciate hearing some solid reasons that she is not suitable for the Presidency. Thanks all!

I do not think I am a Hillary hater in that I do not have anything personal against her. The main issue is that I am a conservative and many of her ultra left wing ideas are things that I completely disagree with her on.

Yes she is a formidable opponent, she has the ultimate campaigner Bill Clinton on her team. I believe she will lose because she does not have his Charisma, people close to her call her abrasive.

I don't hate her, but I don't think I could vote for her. She would be a formidable candidate. She has money behind her. She has the name behind her. She has the media behind her. She has experience as first lady and now a senator.

I couldn't vote for her for several reasons. She has no core beliefs. She bends to the will of the poll. That's not leadership. She's conservative one day, moderate the next, and finally liberal after that.

1. What legislation has she introduced that has helped New York or the US. Not co-sponsored with someone. Introduced of her own.
2. Hillary Care.
3. Her educational reform in Arkansas actually brought the system lower.
4. Do we really need a rehash of all the Clinton scandals. How did she turn 1000 dollars into 100,000 dollars from cattle futures when most everyone else was loosing money. How is it those billing records just happened to show up after being lost? What really happened in travelgate? And on and on.
5. Everything would be a vast right wing conspiracy. She never admits a wrong.
And on and on.

I take issue with her stance on certain policies. If you take the time to read some of her speeches, she changes her views depended on the group she is addressing. This is not something she does over an extended period of time either, she has done it over the course of days. I'm all for a politician who is willing to grow and evolve with the situation of most issues, but for her to pick and choose a side to placate her constituents is lunacy.

As far as what Cheney said about her being a threat, I believe that statement to be the work of Karl Rove. Rove wants to give her a false sense of security. If she believes she is a true threat, she will want to run in '08. Middle America is not yet ready to vote for a female President, especially not a female Clinton. (I know you said you didn't want to hear that, but it is true) The only thing that will mobilize the die-hard Republican base more than voting against a female Clinton is the gay marriage issue. That worked for Bush in '04, and Ms. Clinton running in '08 will have the same effect. So, that said, I think she needs to run too.

Why are some Obama Haters Hillary fans? Hillary Clinton began a unfavorable marketing campaign to get returned in the race now it's going to be Obama's turn to accomplish a little grimy stuff too. And have faith me Hillary's have been given greater grimy laundry than Obama so stay tuned. She basically cares approximately herself no longer the occasion or the yankee people. and you're perfect the longer and uglier this marketing campaign is going for the Democratic the greater suitable it is for the Republican occasion. while Rush Limbaugh says that Hillary and Obama could proceed the mudslinging than you comprehend it quite is not going to be sturdy in the long-term for the democrats.

If she is honest and has a good enough political mind to be our president, then why didn't she say anything while her husband bill was shipping our jobs overseas? Why didn't she say anything when he gave control of our news media to six big corporations by signing the Financial Services Modernization Act in 1992?... I believe her husband bill purposely sabotaged the democratic party in the first place with his sex scandal... bill Clinton was no democrat and how could Hillary not know this after years of living with him?... his so called great economy was built like a house of cards waiting to fall with phony dot com jobs and massive unchecked corruption... I am a democrat and I would definitely vote for a woman president.. find someone who is a real democrat to run for office.

As a life-long resident of New York State and a registered Democrat, I can honestly say that I wouldn't vote for Hillary Clinton ever again! She fooled me once, won't fool me again.
Talk about a politician who's all over the map......Hillary moves from left to center to right of center and back to the far left again......just depends on what group she's trying to please at the moment. This woman has done absolutely nothing for New York State. She moved here for one reason and one reason only.......knowing that New York is a strong Democrat state, it would be a good place to further her ambitions. Hillary looks out for Hillary and Hillary only......not the people!

One, she is a barley concealed Socialist, but so is the entirety of her party.
Two. her "Tail Hook" sham in the early 90's resulted in the forced retirement of some of our finest Navy and Marine Officers. Further, she crippled the ability of our Military to recruit, school, and properly train and equip a sufficient number of combat ready troops: in fact the morale of our military, during Hillary's reign, was at the most dismal point since the dark days following Vietnam.
Did I mention she is a Socialist that wishes to stifle any dissenting opinions by imposing the Stalinist tactic of the "Fairness in Broadcasting" law?
Hillary, Soros, and the DNC stand for everything the Republic of America doesn't---------Free market Capitalism

I think he was talking more about all the Democrats that will be trying during the primary to get the nomination. No one thinks she would really be voted in as president because she is a woman. So republicans don't mind if she gets to be the democratic candidate.

She is immoral and misguided on her views about "reproductive freedoms" she voted AGAINST the ban on partial birth abortions, she likes full term babies being slaughtered. Warren Hern and George Tiller make a "killing" (get it) off of destroying human life and that money goes into the politicians pockets to keep them in business.
She has a wooden personality and an air of significant arrogance.
She changes her stand (not suprising seeing as she is quite a liberal) on her views and agenda to the blowing winds, just like Kerry.

If you don't approve of Senator Clinton, does that mean you hate her?

Anyone who says they hate her politically are not much different than child swinging at a pinata. Their point of views are skewed because hate does not leave room for logic. When you are blind you can't see!

Senator Clinton is not that much different than any other U.S. Senator. The obvious exceptions would be, she belongs to a party that is philosophically the opposite of her opponents and she sits on the other side of the isle. Oh yes, she may be running for president... That may make some chauvinists angry!
