For a while the immigration service was catching and releasing "family units" as they entered the US in violation of law. Now when a family unit is apprehended they are all held for removal proceedings from the US. Agree or is this wrong? The reason family units were getting released was because the lack of detention space for them. I understand that lots of psuedo family units were coming in cause an infant/child =ed a free ticket to the interior of the US.

If Barak Obama was White, he'd be the perfect candidate - for either party.

#1 He speaks eloquently (better than Bush)

#2 he can actually point out the G8 on a map and their leaders ( unlike Bush)

#3 he is relatively clean (unlike Republicans and Democrats with "histories"

#4 he is highly intelligent, etc.

The only thing that could stop him from winning the presidency in 2008 would be either the White Nationalist racist vote against him or the possibility of a better candidate running in the Republican line (which I don't see happening after 8 years of Bush's destructive stupidity).

Why can't Barak Obama have been White?

Why is it American "democracy" is about getting the next White man into the oval office - so long as he has a sexualy euphamistic name (Bush,
DlCK Cheney, COLON Powell, DlCK Nixon, etc)

When will American "democracy" be about electing an intelligent person who will do the job right?

Why does North Korea call itself the Democratic People's Republic of Korea? Haha, America could be called the United Democratic Republic States of America... so goes to show you that actions speak louder than well...names.

North Korea is not democratic (not considering if they hold phony one-sided elections for the sole purpose of legitimacy), it's not really "the people's" in the true communist sense, and it's not really a republic. I guess it also goes to show you that a name is in name only (i.e. take Democratic Republic of Congo too). But are these phony names just a facade to cover up the real function of the regime in power?

I am not pro-ilegal immigration.
But I am not Pro-Exploitation or Pro-Hate.
A Reform is a Democratic solution for social problems like Immigration or Emigration. You don't change the Immigrants! The Immigrants change you, as was before and as it will always be.

I was watching the news tonight and a 14 year old girl posted a picture on her myspace page saying kill bush with a knife in his head. Anyway, the secret service went to her school and yelled at her. I'm not supporting her or have anything against President Bush, but I'm curious. People From US, Canada and everyone uses myspace. If I lived in Canada or Mexico and posted a picture like that, could the Secret Service or anyone do anything about it?

my brother recently got into a tussel and it ended up in him being blindsided by another kid of the age 17 and he punched him in the face while wearing a ring with a spike on it. the spike was lodged in my brothers forehead and a plastic surgen took out most of it but the other part is too close to a nerve for him to take it out

My 13 year old son was browsing through his email last year and there was an unsolicited email from monster.com. My son opened a link on the email and it took him to their website and to his fright there was a picture of a frightening green monster which I believe is their mascot and my son had a panic attack and couldnt sleep for weeks because of the image of this horrible monster on monster.com's site.

My son has been through many therapy and rehabilitation and he has barely improved. he dropped out of school and is not social anymore. He tells me he;s afraid of the green monster and that it has destroyed his life and he fears it will one day eat him

I believe monster.com SHOULD be liable for this distress and pain brought to my son. the email was unsolicited and my son is not the same. what legal recourse do I have. I am lost right about now

Why would someone sign their rear over to the military in the first place? Just to turn into the pawn of a government with it's own agenda, and be ordered off to another country to kill people? Look at what's going on in Iraq. These people have been fighting amongst themselves for thousands of years. What gives someone the motivation to enlist and go add to the violent mix? Is it not the best idea work for a peaceful life in which we can coexist? Wars have been fought for ages, and most of the wars have had little to no point other than wanting to be domince. Land, resources, ideals, and damn religions. WHAT IS THE POINT? I don't believe there is one, and I would like to know why people don't see what chaos is going on in the world. If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!
