Sadly the perception of a lot of people in this country is that your vote doesn't make a difference, but so many people believe this or just flat out to lazy to vote that your vote actually makes a difference. The turnout in my district's local primary elections was a dismal 14% and I voted. I probably had a big influence since my county had a population of nearly 900,000.

I never vote But i am an anarchist.
If voting made any difference they would make it illegal.
Have you ever noticed that the only candidates they give you are upper class liers.
You think you live in a democracy.... HAHA

The only thing on earth that makes any sence to me is love.

Voting is only important IF you have studied the issues and the candidates and REALLY know who and what you are voting for and why. Otherwise, you're just wasting your time and everyone else's by muddying the water.

Voting, you mean like putting down an X? Why?

Voting doesn't matter. Counting does.

It is better to finance political campaigns than vote. Vote with your money. Oh you think your vote matters? Go see your politician in Washington DC. Then give money to one and see you get better treatment. Give enough and you get to write your law.

Can you vote in every election? No... If you give the politician money, you can vote in every election in the country, you can even vote twice with your money.

Special interests understand this. They give to both political parties. No matter who wins, they voted for the winner.

Vote with your money, vote early... vote often.

It is important to vote because we are suppose to be living in a democracy. Under this type government it is the people who are suppose to say by vote what they want. BUT I think this sytem needs to be revamped. Because ELECTORAL votes make our votes null and void. And things like this make me just want to say screw it why waste the gas to go vote when my vote don't count anyway.

why is it important to vote?
So you can complain about the outcome - if you don't vote then you really don't have a leg to stand on.

And why do some people never vote during life and don't want to vote?
Some people are lazy idiots.

Voting lets those in government, elected or otherwise, know, that we, the people in order to have a more perfect union....are watching!

The more people who vote, the more difficult it is to fool and steal. Too many eyes and minds watching and throw in freedom of the press and we all need to do our share at keeping government on notice.

GREAT SYSTEM.

I wish that no one else voted, because then mine would be the only one that counted. With that in mind, I would like to say thank you for all who don't vote. None of you are as intelligent, or enlightened as me!
