You can choose to do that. But then by doing that, you also choose to take the punishment when you are caught, tried and convicted.

Since you would like to go into the rhelm of "legal". . .

A woman can not get an abortion after the first trimester (12 weeks of pregnancy). The law defines life beginning at 24 weeks of pregnancy (6 months). So no one is breaking any laws in the statutes of murder.

So what am I saying? The analogy is poor.

If you don't want to get pregnant, then don't have sex at all. Easy choice. But as for abortion being legal, I am not one that would have one, but I am dam glad that it is legal - then the government regulates the people performing them and where they are performed. Making it illegal will not stop it (drugs, underage drinking, etc); it will only deregulate it, and take any standards that are there out. And that will cause more deaths than the ones that the "pro life" people claim are being taken. If you are pro-life, then is that really the result you want?

Actually that does happen, it's called partial abortion.

In September, 1993, Brenda Pratt Shafer, a registered nurse with thirteen years or experience, was assigned by her nursing agency to an abortion clinic. Since Nurse Shafer considered herself "very pro-choice," she didn't think this assignment would be a problem. She was wrong. This is what Nurse Shafer saw:

" I stood at the doctor's side and watched him perform a partial-birth abortion on a woman who was six months pregnant. The baby's heartbeat was clearly visible on the ultrasound screen. The doctor delivered the baby's body and arms, everything but his little head. The baby's body was moving. His little fingers were clasping together. He was kicking his feet. The doctor took a pair of scissors and inserted them into the back of the baby's head, and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall. Then the doctor opened the scissors up. Then he stuck the high-powered suction tube into the hole and sucked the baby's brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. I never went back to the clinic. But I am still haunted by the face of that little boy. It was the most perfect, angelic face I have ever seen."

Babies don't even need to commit a crime to die.
Laws in many countries allow murderers to live in jails and even be free after 10 years.

Justify that. It is not a crime anymore to kill.
Some don't even go to jail- Look at Winnie Mandela in South Africa. Not to speakabout other polititians in that country that are treated like heroes after they are found guilty for corruption, theft and other.

What do you expect then? If politicians have no respect for justice anymore, why should criminals?

The problem is our legal system does not attempt to punish, only rehabilitate. The Yates case is symptomatic of this issue.

Yeah, or why not put the baby up for adoption at least? If they can't raise it by themselves then they can put it up for adoption and the child can have a chance at life.

I don't believe in abortions but I don't have the right to tell others how to live. I think more can be done to re-establish morals that this country seems to have lost.

No you can't murder anyone that might REALLY be ANNOYING, or even dangerous, because HE HAS RIGHTS.
YOU CAN ONLY MURDER AN INNOCENT FETUS, WHICH HAS NEVER DONE ANYHTING WRONG BECAUSE, BY OUR LAW, DOES NOT HAVE ANY RIGHTS YET.

acording to leviticus, a source no christian can refute, "life is in the blood". Therefor, the fetus isn't alive until later in pregnancy when the fetus is infused with blood

You evade the real issue.
Say abortion was illegal.
I could make the following argument:
"
Since abortion is illegal, does not it mean that:
Male Masturbation should be illegal?
Menstruation should be illegal?
Blow jobs should be illegal?
"
All these activities destroy potential life!
